ma muncha muncha mam krsna! dasam dina-dayarnava!
patitam ghora-samsare hy avasam prakrter vasat [1]

ma—do not; muncha—abandon; muncha—deliver; mam—me; krsna!—oh Krsna!; dasam—servant; dina—destitute; daya—(of) mercy; arnava—ocean; patitam—fallen; ghora—terrible; samsare—in the material world, within conditioned life, within mundane family life; hi—certainly; avasam—helplessly, unwillingly; prakrteh—by material nature; vasat—under control.

Don't abandon me. Deliver this servant. O Krishna! O ocean of mercy for the destitute! Helplessly subjugated by material nature, I am fallen within this terrible world.

ma muncha muncha mam krsna! dasam dina-dayarnava!
anadi-bhagya-vaigunyat bhoga-mugdham durasayam [2]

anadi—before entering the realm of time and space; bhagya—fortune; vaigunyat—from faultiness; bhoga—enjoyment; mugdha—bewildered; durasayam—wicked.

Don't abandon me. Deliver this servant. O Krishna! O ocean of mercy for the destitute! Due to my misfortune whose origin precedes my entanglement within material time and space, I have been bewildered by the wicked desire to (selfishly) enjoy.

ma muncha muncha mam krsna! dasam dina-dayarnava!
maya-kridanakam dinam niralambam nirasrayam [3]

maya—(of) Mayadevi; kridanaka—toy; dinam—destitute; niralambam—devoid of support; nirasrayam—devoid of shelter.

Don't abandon me. Deliver this servant. O Krishna! O ocean of mercy for the destitute! I am a toy of Maya. I am destitute. I have no support. I have no shelter.

ma muncha muncha mam krsna! dasam dina-dayarnava!
janma-mrtyu-jara-vyadhi-bhiti-chintati-kataram [4]

janma—birth; mrtyu—death; jara—old age; vyadhi—disease; bhiti—fear; chinta—anxiety; ati—very; kataram—distressed.

Don't abandon me. Deliver this servant. O Krishna! O ocean of mercy for the destitute! I am greatly distressed by birth, death, old age, disease, fear and anxiety.

ma muncha muncha mam krsna! dasam dina-dayarnava!
jnanajnana-krtananta-papa-bhoga-bhayakulam [5]

jnana—(with) knowledge; ajnana—(in) ignorance; krta—done; ananta—unlimited; papa—sin; bhoga—undergoing; bhaya—fear; akulam—overwhelmed.

Don't abandon me. Deliver this servant. O Krishna! O ocean of mercy for the destitute! I am overwhelmed with fear when faced with undergoing the reactions for the unlimited sins I have knowingly and unknowingly committed.

ma muncha muncha mam krsna! dasam dina-dayarnava!
kama-krodhadi-dasyubhi nirdayam padamarditam [6]

kama—lust; krodha—anger; adi—and so forth; dasyubhi—by the bandits; nirdayam—merciless; pada—feet; marditam—trampled.

Don't abandon me. Deliver this servant. O Krishna! O ocean of mercy for the destitute! I have been trampled by the feet of the merciless bandits lust, anger, (greed, delusion, false egotism, envy) and so forth.

ma muncha muncha mam krsna! dasam dina-dayarnava!
antahsatru-viparyastam punah punar vilanchhitam [7]

antah—internal; satru—enemies; viparyastam—bewildered; punah—again; punah—and again; vilanchhitam—harassed.

Don't abandon me. Deliver this servant. O Krishna! O ocean of mercy for the destitute! I am bewildered and harassed by (these) internal enemies again and again.

ma muncha muncha mam krsna! dasam dina-dayarnava!
tranartham prarthyamano 'pi na mam pasyati kaschanah [8]

trana—of deliverance; artham—purpose; prarthyamano—one who is praying; api—although; na—not; mam—me; pasyati—sees; kaschanah—someone.

Don't abandon me. Deliver this servant. O Krishna! O ocean of mercy for the destitute! Although I am praying for deliverance, no one sees me.

ma muncha muncha mam krsna! dasam dina-dayarnava!
pitaro bandhava deva asamartha paranmukha [9]

pitaro—ancestors; bandhava—friends; deva—demigods; asamartha—incapable; paranmukha—those who are averse.

Don't abandon me. Deliver this servant. O Krishna! O ocean of mercy for the destitute! My ancestors, my friends and the demigods are all incapable (of delivering me) and opposed to me.

ma muncha muncha mam krsna! dasam dina-dayarnava!
sva-para-bharasa-hinam nirupayam nirakrtam [10]

sva—own; para—others; bharasa—hope; hinam—devoid; nirupayam—devoid of any means (of deliverance); nirakrtam—rejected.

Don't abandon me. Deliver this servant. O Krishna! O ocean of mercy for the destitute! I am devoid of any hope in myself and in others. I have no means whatsoever (of deliverance). I am utterly spurned.

ma muncha muncha mam krsna! dasam dina-dayarnava!
mahaparadha-rasi-namalayam tyakta-sadhanam [11]

maha—great; aparadha—offences; rasi—multitude; nama—(to) the Holy Name; alayam—abode; tyakta—abandoning; sadhanam—means, practice.

Don't abandon me. Deliver this servant. O Krishna! O ocean of mercy for the destitute! Having abandoned the proper way, I have become an abode of a profusion of henious offences against the Holy Name.

ma muncha muncha mam krsna! dasam dina-dayarnava!
he sad-asad-vicharorddha-prapannartiharo hare! [12]

he—oh!; sad—good; asad—bad; vichara—judgement (of); uddha—beyond; prapanna—surrendered souls; arti—distress; harah—who takes away; hare!—oh Hari!.

Don't abandon me. Deliver this servant. O Krishna! O ocean of mercy for the destitute! O Lord that removes the distress of the surrendered souls who are beyond all consideration of good and bad! O Hari!

ma muncha muncha mam krsna! dasam dina-dayarnava!
dasatvam dehi dasanam tava deva dayanidhe! [13]

dasatvam—servitude; dehi—please bestow; dasanam—of the servants; tava—Your; deva—oh Lord; daya—mercy; nidhe!—oh reservoir!

Don't abandon me. Deliver this servant. O Krishna! O ocean of mercy for the destitute! Please bestow the service of Your servants upon me, oh Lord! O ocean of mercy!

ma muncha muncha mam krsna! dasam dina-dayarnava!
niyunksa nityadasye mam pradaya prema-vartanam [14]

niyunksa—engage; nitya—eternal; dasye—in servitude; mam—me; pradaya—granting; prema—divine love; vartanam—salary.

Don't abandon me. Deliver this servant. O Krishna! O ocean of mercy for the destitute! Please engage me in Your eternal service, granting me the salary of divine love.

ma muncha muncha mam krsna! dasam dina-dayarnava!
svantaranga-sevam dehi he gopijana-vallabha! [15]

sva—own; antaranga—intimate; sevam—service; dehi—please bestow; he—oh; gopi—cowherd women; jana—persons; vallabha!—beloved!

Don't abandon me. Deliver this servant. O Krishna! O ocean of mercy for the destitute! Please bestow Your intimate service upon me, oh beloved of the gopis!

ma muncha-pancha-dasakam! krsna dina-dayarnava!
tridandi-sridharodgitam grhanedam stavamrtam [16]

tridandi—Vaisnava sannyasi; sridhara—(named) Sridhar; udgitam—sings aloud; grhana—please accept; idam—this; stava—prayer; amrtam—nectar.

O ocean of mercy for the destitute Sri Krsna! Tridandi-bhiksu Sri Sridhar sings aloud this Ma Muncha Pancha-Dasakam. Please accept this nectarean prayer.
