Sri Ekachakra Dham: Varaha Dvadasi

Morning, 31 January 2015

Pictures of a chilly late winter morning at Sri Ekachakra temple of Sri Sri Guru Gaura Nityananda on the adhivas day of Sri Nityananda Prabhu's appearance day and Varaha Dvadasi, the appearance of Lord Varahadev.

The serene surroundings of the temple.

The kitchen pandal.

The birthplace of Lord Nityananda is clearly visible from the Sri Hadai Pandit Sri Padmavati Smriti-kunja

The kitchen service starts early in the morning, shortly after the mangal arati.

It is still quite chilly in the morning and His Divine Grace places the devotees in the gratifying heat of the morning
sun to honour the prasadam. Earlier during the class, His Divine Grace also made a special instruction
to the cook to use best ingredients to make paramanna (sweet rice) for Varahadev.

Devotees honouring the prasadam: the special sweet rice, muri, and chana dahl and potato subji.

We are conditioned souls and Gurudev can take us from that kind of hellish position and use us for the service of the Lord.
