"I offer my obeisance unto he who perfectly fulfils his Gurudev's most cherished desires; who is fully adorned with the blessings of his Gurudev’s associates; who is expert in all aspects of Vedic knowledge, both conceivable and inconceivable; who is the pre-eminent follower of Srila Rupa Goswami Prabhu's line; who is known as 'Govinda'—Srila Bhakti Sundar Govinda Dev-Goswami Maharaj; whose beautiful, effulgent, exalted form is infused with pure devotion; who is the Guru of the entire universe; and who is the giver of the seed of divine love for the Supreme Lord."

"The feet dust of the Vaishnavs is where I sport and take bath, Vaishnavs' name is the water oblation. My mind is intently fixed upon the remnants of Vaishnavs, and I am elated at the name of Vaishnavs."

gangara-parasa ha-ile paschate pavana
darsane pavitra kara—ei tomara guna

"If the Ganges touches someone, they are purified some time later; but one becomes purified just by seeing you, O Vaishnava Thakur. Such is your power."

An auspicious welcome: coconuts in clay pots and young banana trees.

 


When His Divine Grace comes to commence the programme, he first of all offers a garland to Srila B.S. Govinda Dev-Goswami Maharaj, Srila B.R. Sridhar Dev-Goswami Maharaj, and Srila B.S. Saraswati Thakur Prabhupad.

 


 


 


 


 


 


 

    

 


Sripad Bhakti Tilak Niriha Maharaj offers garlands and obeisances while Sripad Gauranga Prabhu offers chandan to all dignitaries arriving from Gaudiya Maths of Nabadwip.

Devotees affectionately set the plates, placing a piece of lemon and a pinch of salt on each plate and keeping a bottle of water next to it.

After the class, all devotees offer pushpanjali (flower petals).

 


 


On request of His Divine Grace, all dignitaries proceed then upstairs to honour prasadam.

 


 


 


His Divine Grace happily distributes gifts to the Vaishnavs: a wall calendar, a diary and a cloth.

 

 


 


 


 


 


In the meantime, devotees stay downstairs to attend the arati of Sri Sri Gaura Nityananda Prabhu and Sri Sri Laksmi Nrisinghadev and Prahlad Maharaj.
