bimala hema-jini | tanu anupama re! |
tahe sobhe nana phula-dama |
kadamba kesara jini | ekati pulaka re! |
tara majhe bindu bindu ghama [1] |
His figure defeats pure gold! Various flowers garlands adorn Him
highlighting His beauty, and, in His ecstatic thrill, the hairs on His body
standing erect defeat the stamens of kadamba flowers! His body is covered
with drops of perspiration.
jini' mada-matta hati | gamana manthara ati |
bhava-vese dhuli dhuli yaya |
aruna-vasana chhabi | jini prabhatera ravi |
gaura-ange lahari khelaya [2] |
His paced gait defeats the walk of a mad elephant; overcome with divine love,
He staggers and walks about; The glow of His crimson garments defeat the
glow of the morning sun; His golden limbs sway like large waves of an
ocean.
chalite na pare gora- | chanda gosani re |
balite na pare adha-bola |
bhavete avesa haiya | hari hari bolaiya |
achandale dhari' deya kola [3] |
Gorachand can walk no more, He can talk no more hardly uttering some
half-words. Deeply absorbed by the mellows of divine love, chanting, "Hari,
Hari," He catches hold of the lowest of men and embraces them.
e sukha-sampada-kale | gora na bhajinu hele |
hena pade na karinu asa |
sri-krsna-chaitanya-chandra | thakura sri-nityananda |
guna gaya vrndavana dasa [4] |
During this very time that was endowed with such happiness, I did not worship
Gora, I did not aspire for His lotus feet! Vrindavan Das is singing the
glories of Sri Krishna Chaitanya Chandra and Thakura Sri Nityananda...
