Gurudev made the temple, Math, Gurudev did not make the commode. All people come there now, but those who are great devotees, who are followers of Gurudev, they will not go to any other line—they will always follow Gurudev's rules and regulations, they will always try to fulfil Gurudev's desire. That is called faith.

If we do not practise properly, we will lose our faith. Faith may come, and faith may be lost. If you do not have the strongest faith, then you will automatically lose your faith because of the lack of practising. If we practise sravanam, kirtanam, smaranam, vandanam, dasyam, sakhyam, atma-nivedanam (hearing, chanting, remembering, offering obeisance, engaging in service as a servitor, as a friend, and self-submission) properly, then the strongest faith will come and the platform will be strong, no one will be able to break it.

We must all be careful—there is so much illusory environment all over the world. There are people who want to break our union, who always want to separate us—they want to see our weakness and take advantage of it. We must stand united—unity is strength.

Sriman Chaitanya Mahaprabhu told Das Goswami Prabhu, "Gramya-katha na sunibe, gramya-varta na kahibe (গ্রাম্যকথা না শুনিবে, গ্রাম্যবার্ত্তা না কহিবে): do not listen to the mundane talks, do not listen to the mundane news" (Cc, 3.6.236). Do not listen to any bad, nonsense things and do not say nonsense things. Always think about Gurudev's desire, about Gurudev. How? By rejecting the bad things and accepting the good things. We do not say that we are 100% pure, that we are 100% devotee, we are 100% great Vaishnav or we are 100% sannyasi—we are trying. We are trying our best to become a great servitor of Gurudev—we want to be a great servitor. Until our death we must serve Gurudev as much as possible.

Our line must be proper and perfect. Once, Srila Sridhar Maharaj became angry and said, "I will stay alone in the temple, it is not necessary to have so many people! I do not want anybody, I will stay in this temple alone." This is what Srila Sridhar Maharaj said. You know that he did not make so many disciples, he does not want quantity, he wants quality. Actually, one person is sufficient to rescue souls all over the world, to rescue the whole universe.

I am trying to serve all over the world—I always try to do what Gurudev wanted. I am in a difficult position position, but still, I am trying, I talk to the devotees all over the world... Otherwise, if I had not made the promise to Gurudev, I could run away any time, I do not have any want of food or anything, but I want to die with devotees—even if I go to hell, I will still stay with the devotees, I will still serve Gurudev. It is not a problem for me. If I die doing the service to Gurudev, that is my happiness.

There is so much disturbance all over the world after Gurudev's disappearance. Many want to be a guru now, and I do not have any objection. If there are many gurus, what is the problem? If they preach for Gurudev, if they follow the proper line, I have no objection, I do not have any problem with that. Gurudev told all acharyas and all devotees to show some love and affection for Acharya Maharaj and they are still doing that. I do not want for anything more than that from them. I only want their foot dust. They are all servitors of Gurudev, they are all Gurudev's friends, they have so much more qualification than me, and if they can only give mercy to me—if they can keep me under their feet—that is sufficient for me.
