I giving my full obeisance at the lotus feet of all the devotees, Gurudev's devotees and well-wishers, all the Vaishnav-mandali, all the assembled devotees, all my godbrothers and godsisters, and all the exalted Vaishnavs.

Actually, I always want them to engage me in their service. I want to be their servant; that is always my wish.

Srila Guru Maharaj and Gurudev always say (I read it in Gurudev's and Srila Guru Maharaj's books, and I heard it also) that Krishna says, "These twenty-four hours is My time. I am giving this time to you, and you must use these twenty-four hours for My service." However, when I see mundane people all over the world, I see that almost all people are engaged in their own activities, in their own enjoyment. People think about heaven, liberation—they say, "If I do something sinful, I will have to go to hell, so I must do pious activity, then I will go to heaven." They waste their time and play games with their life, spending it on nonsense. That is why I sometimes think when people with such mentality come to Krishna consciousness, they will use their time for the service of the Lord, but now they are always sleeping, eating, enjoying with their life, and that is why they will have to come to this world again. Maya is always there.

If you have some material desire in your heart, you should remove it with the root; otherwise, it will slowly, slowly grow big—if you have material desires, it is Maya, and it can remove you from the service of the Lord.

We always, life after life, become servants of lust, servants of anger, servants of greed, servants of material attachment, servants of envy, and we follow their orders. However, we now understand something—we have got some good association. Krishna Himself comes in front of us or sends His representative, a Guru, and we have accepted him as our guardian of devotion, we have accepted him as our manager of the practising life, who will show us the way to our real home. Gurudev has come to show us that.

We must be careful with the illusory environment. Maya (the illusory environment) is always very active, and we can fall down at any time. If we think we have become a great Vaishnav, we have become a great maha-purush (a great personality), that we know everything, then this will be the cause of our downfall—we can get out of Krishna consciousness and service at any time. We should be careful. We must become servants of Nityananda Prabhu, servants of Gurudev, servants of devotees—if we can become their feet dust, that is sufficient for our spiritual life.
