Mahaprabhu teaches so many things.

One time, Sachi Mata committed an offence—she commented one thing about Advaita Prabhu. Advaita Prabhu did not know about it, but Mahaprabhu told His mother, "It is a big offence!" Later, one day Srivas Pandit said about Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, "You have bestowed Your mercy to everybody, You have given Krishna-prema to everybody, but why not to Your mother?" Mahaprabhu replied, "I cannot give Krishna-prema to My mother because My mother is an offender to Srila Advaita Prabhu's lotus feet. If she asks Advaita Prabhu for forgiveness of her offence, then I can give her Krishna-prema."

Mahaprabhu teaches all devotees all over the world. He did not give Krishna-prema to His own mother at first because she was an offender to Advaita Prabhu. This is Vaishnav aparadh. It is very high [grave] things. Without thinking, we write something, we do something, we think something, and we consider that what we think is the highest...

I have told many times also—you know that once, when Mahaprabhu saw Devananda Pandit, He remembered Srivas Pandit and some offence that Devananda Pandit had committed. What kind of offence did he make? Devananda Pandit was a good Bhagavat reader and commentator—he would give class on Bhagavatam, explain its meanings, etc. and many devotees would come to hear his class. Once, when he was doing a Bhagavat class, ecstasy came over Srivas Pandit and he began to cry. All of Devananda Pandit's students and followers removed Srivas Pandit from the class, and Devananda Pandit did not stop them. That was his offence. It happened in Kuliya, Nabadwip. We must understand this point very clearly.

হরিস্থানে অপরাধে তারে হরিনাম ।
তোমাস্থানে অপরাধে নাহিক এড়ান ॥

hari-sthane aparadhe tare hari-nama
toma-sthane aparadhe nahika edana

"If one offends the Lord, the Lord's Name delivers him, but if one offends you, O Vaishnav, one has no salvation."

These are the main things. We must understand clearly what are the main things in our spiritual life. We must understand the importance of sravanam-kirtanam and:

সাধুসঙ্গ, নামকীর্ত্তন, ভাগবতশ্রবণ ।
মথুরাবাস, শ্রীমূর্ত্তির শ্রদ্ধায় সেবন ॥

sadhu-sanga, nama-kirtana, bhagavata-sravana
mathura-vasa, sri-murtira sraddhaya sevana

"One should associate with devotees, chant the Holy Name of the Lord, hear Srimad-Bhagavatam, reside at Mathura and worship the Deity with faith."

(Sri Chaitanya-charitamrita, Madhya-lila, 22.124)

We are practitioners. If we think we are becoming big persons, then "pride comes before a fall." We think we are becoming big personalities, we know everything, we know everything better than others—if such things come to you, then there can be a problem in your spiritual life; this can destroy your spiritual life, this can destroy everything. You must learn to give honour to others. Even if the person is junior, even if they do not know anything, we must learn to give honour to others. These are our main things.

Jay Srila Guru Maharaj ki jay.

The Devotee and the Barber
How do you know there is no God? You never went to God. You never go to Krishna's devotee, you never go to Krishna's temple. Go and then you can understand whether Krishna exists or not.

Ke yabi ke yabi
'Who will cross, O brother, who will cross the ocean of material existence? Oh! The fortune of this Age of Kali is the appearance of Sri Chaitanya.'
কে যাবি কে যাবি

Everybody has some ego, but what is that ego for? Your ego must be, 'I am
the servant of the Lord. I am the servant of my Guru.'
