I am first giving my full obeisance at the lotus feet of my spiritual master Om Vishnupad Jagad-Guru Srila Bhakti Sundar Govinda Dev-Goswami Maharaj. Then, I am giving my full obeisance to you all who are present here—all the scholars, all the professors, engineers, intellectual assembled people and distinguished guests.

Actually, I am very happy to come here today to represent my institution Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math International that was established in 1941 by our beloved Param Gurudev Om Vishnupad Srila Bhakti Raksak Sridhar Dev-Goswami Maharaj, succeeded after that by our Gurudev, the president and sevaite, Om Vishnupad Srila Bhakti Sundar Govinda Dev-Goswami Maharaj. This Mission has centres in over one hundred countries and preaches all over the world about peace and harmony and the spiritual conception of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. That is why I am very happy to see you all and I am very glad to come here to join this kind of assembly. I am expressing my full gratitude and giving my full support to those who have organised this programme and gathered this assembly.

I am very fortunate to come here, and one thing I want to say is that we always speak about peace and harmony, but we must understand—do we only say it with our mouth or do we say it from our heart? It is necessary to establish and speak about peace and harmony from the heart. This is the main thing.

We suffering so much because of our ego; everybody has some ego—somebody says, "We are professors," somebody says, "We are doctors," etc. Actually, I do not know who you consider yourself, but I myself think that I am a fallen soul, that I have no quality and qualification. I do not have any qualification to come here also, but by the mercy of Gurudev, my friends Bhakti Niskam Shanta Maharaj and Bhakti Vijnan Muni Maharaj asked me to come here for one day and join this programme—I was busy, but it is my duty to serve the Mission of Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math all over the world, that is why I could not decline their request. That is why I have come here.

Actually, we say we are professors, we are doctors, we are engineers, we are scholars, etc. I have heard you give everybody's identity and we give some identity from our side also, but actually we must think: what is our identity? All these titles are actually the identity of our body. You can understand it if you think about it properly. You have got so many awards, you have got so many gold medals, so many things, but when you leave your body, what will happen to all that? You should think about it. This is what simple living and high thinking is. What is your identity? Is it your name? Somebody asks me, "Who are you?" and I tell them, "My name is that," but this is my bodily identity. It is not actually our real identity. This is the main thing.
