Question: If Paramatma is in the hearts of all living entities, how is it that there are so many violent and corrupt people here in Venezuela who are destroying the country?

Why do you see bad things? You must see that everything is good. Whatever may be going on, something good will come out of it. Everything that comes is good. Something is necessary, that is why something is happening, but some good things are coming, you must wait for that.

Question: When Srila Prabhupad went to San Francisco, he installed the Deities of Jagannath, Baladev, and Subhadra there and even called that temple New Jagannath Puri...

Different Vaishnavs have different vision. They are all our guru-varga and we cannot make any offence to our guru-varga. If they decide to make New Jagannath Puri in San Francisco, then what is our problem? We are not going to make any complaint against our guru-varga. We must give respect to what they do. That is our simplicity and our tradition. We do not think, "Why did he do this? What did he do that?" It is our guru-varga and what they have done is final for us. We cannot question them, "Why did he do that?" Otherwise I will have to go and ask Srila Prabhupad or send him a message saying, "Prabhupad, why did you do that? Please give an answer."

Question: Some of older devotees came to Krishna consciousness in Srila Guru Maharaj's times (Srila Sridhar Maharaj's times), then they continued their service with Srila Gurudev (Srila Govinda Maharaj) and now, of course, with you. Some of us have got some instructions from our Srila Guru Maharaj and Srila Gurudev, so how are we to harmonise that instruction that has been given to us in our service to you?

Gurudev told me that we cannot make everybody happy, that is why some disagreement sometimes comes, some problems sometimes come. I have seen with my own eyes how Gurudev himself dealt with his godbrothers. Sometimes he would make a little bit of some illusory environment also. We must see how Srila Guru Maharaj and Srila Gurudev harmonised with everybody...

What can I do? What can I say now? I am saying it from my heart—all devotees give so much love and affection to me, that is sufficient for me, I do not want anything more. All devotees, all senior devotees, all very senior sannyasis give so much respect to me—I think that I am not a proper person to get that respect, but they give respect to Gurudev, they have a lot of love and affection for Gurudev, that is why they give so much respect and honour to me. I think I am not a proper person to get it, but anyhow Srila Gurudev finally chose me for this position, and as many days I will live in this world I will continue to serve everybody with my love and affection. That is my view and my wish.

This is how you can also harmonise with some devotees. Actually, everybody does not get this kind of an opportunity to serve their guru—some devotees lose faith, some devotees go their own way. In Gurudev and Guru Maharaj's time also, devotees from so many countries took initiation from Srila Sridhar Dev-Goswami Maharaj, but later they went away to other temples, they left for other missions. Gurudev told them everything, he said what would be their position. Anyhow, they run their own way...

I was instructed by Gurudev, and I told Gurudev that for as many days as I am alive, until I have one last drop of blood in my body, I will not leave his devotees—I will always stay with his devotees. I will always stay with you all, with all of Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math family. I have promised this to my Guru, and I will try to keep that promise. That is my vision...

Question: What should a devotee do if they have been affected by some witchcraft or black magic?

What?! Black magic? Nonsense! Do not believe it. What is this? Chant the Holy Name and be happy, and all 'black magic' will go away. Chant the Holy Name.
