(7/7) Always Remember, Always Serve

His Divine Grace Om Vishnupad
Srila Bhakti Nirmal Acharya Maharaj
Sri Krishna Janmastami Maha-Mahotsav
Kolkata-Worldwide, 12 August 2020, part 7

[His Divine Grace notices devotees and guests gathered at Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math branch in Mauritius.]

Oh, there are so many devotees in Mauritius. Very nice. I am very happy to see you all. I know that you make this Janmastami festival every year, and I am very happy about that. May Krishna always bless you. I pray to Lord Krishna that He may engage you more and more in the service of the devotees.

Gurudev is always with you, and you are all in my heart. I am always with you too. Please accept me as your humble service and count me as your family member. This is my prayer to you all.

Krishna is the Supreme Personality of Godhead, and you are devotees of the devotees of Lord Krishna. That is our prayer, that is our hope. Always give time for the service to Krishna. You will all go to your homes after this festival, but you must serve Krishna not for this moment only. Remember Krishna always, at every moment. Do not forget Krishna. Always remember Krishna, always chant His Holy Names and chant about His beautiful pastimes. This is our main engagement in life. You can chant Lord Krishna's Names and remember His beautiful pastimes. Always remember this. And you must serve under the guidance of Gurudev.

That is my main message to you all. I am very happy to see you all. I see that you have make good temple decoration. Thank you for everything. Hari bol!

murali-dhara govardhana-dhari [4]

"All glory to the beloved of the gopis, to He who enjoys playing His vamsi flute. Glory to He who holds the flute and lifts the Govardhan Hill!"

It is a very nice song. Those who worship Govardhan-sila can remember Govardhan-dhari, Krishna who is holding Giriraj Govardhan with His left little finger.

The difficulty is that people sometimes want to be Krishna... We sing, 'Yasomati-nandana Vraja-vara-nagara.' Do you know what 'nagar' means? What is the meaning of this word implied by Srila Bhaktivinod Thakur? This word 'nagar' is acceptable only for Lord Krishna, not for anybody else. 'Nagar' means He who has many wives. But we want to be Krishna, so we keep many wives...

All right, it was very nice to meet you all. I will answer all your questions next Sunday.

[To devotees at one of the temples.] Are you making taler bora [তালের বড়া, palm fruit croquettes] today? It is made with palm fruit. I like palm fruit. You can make some fuluri [ফুলুরি, pakora, or croquettes] with it. Krishna likes palm fruit croquettes (taler bora). I do not know, you may not get it in your country though. Palm tree fruit (tal) is yellow inside and reddish outside. It is Krishna's favourite fruit. You can also make some laddus [ball-shaped sweets] and malpua [pancakes soaked in syrup]...

All right, thank you very much. It was very nice to see you all. My dandavats to you all. Mainly, I wanted to tell everyone today about Janmastami and what the meaning of Janmastami is. Hare Krishna. Dandavat.

Lord Nrisimhadev and
'Krishna in my heart'
Succint answers to two frequent questions: can we worship Lord Nrisimhadev, and can we think that Krishna is in my heart and be satisfied with that?

We are practitioners; we are not big devotees or great Vaishnavs.
