গৌর আমার যে সব স্থানে
করল ভ্রমণ রঙ্গে ।
সে সব স্থান হেরিব আমি
প্রণয়ি-ভকত-সঙ্গে ॥

gaura amara ye-saba sthane

se-saba sthana heriba ami
pranayi-bhakata-sange

"In the company of loving devotees, I behold all the places my Gaurasundar roamed during His ecstatic Pastimes."

There was also Ramachandra Khan. He sent a girl—a bad girl, a prostitute—to ruin Haridas Thakur. Do you see? You think there are so many bad people now and at that time there were none, but this is not so. Even at that time there were bad people, not only now.

তৃণাধিক হীন কবে নিজে মানি
সহিষ্ণুতা-গুণ হৃদয়েতে আনি'

sahisnuta-guna hrdayete ani'

When will these qualities come to me? When will that day come? When will I think of myself as a blade of grass? When will I have the quality of tolerance like that of a tree or some grass?

তৃণাধিক হীন কবে নিজে মানি
সহিষ্ণুতা-গুণ হৃদয়েতে আনি'

"When will I feel that I am lower than a blade of grass, when will I bring the quality of tolerance into my heart?"

Remember it. It is necessary to always tolerate. If you can tolerate everything, then you can get the Lord. There is no other way.

কবে হবে বল, সে দিন আমার ।
অপরাধ ঘুচি' শুদ্ধ নামে রুচি
কৃপা-বলে হবে হৃদয়ে সঞ্চার ॥

kabe ha'be bala se-dina amara
aparadha ghuchi' suddha name ruchi
krpa-bale ha'be hrdaye sanchara

"Please tell me, when will that day be mine when my offences will be dispelled and taste for the pure Name will be infused within my heart by divine grace?"

তৃণাধিক হীন কবে নিজে মানি
সহিষ্ণুতা-গুণ হৃদয়েতে আনি'

"When will I feel that I am lower than a blade of grass, when will I bring the quality of tolerance into my heart?"

You must always think, "I must bring this kind of virtue of tolerance into my heart."

Haridas Thakur was Brahma Himself—he is an incarnation of Brahma, but Ramachandra Khan sent a prostitute to him, and he ordered his men to beat him at twenty-two marketplaces—not just one marketplace, but twenty-two! What did Haridas Thakur do? He only kept saying, "Krishna bolo! Prabhu, say, 'Krishna!' Say, 'Hare Krishna!'" He was beaten so much by the Muslim people, but still he said, "Say, 'Krishna!' Hare Krishna bolo! Hare Krishna bolo! Only say, 'Hare Krishna!'"

হরে কৃষ্ণ হরে কৃষ্ণ কৃষ্ণ কৃষ্ণ হরে হরে ।
হরে রাম হরে রাম রাম রাম হরে হরে ॥

তৃণাধিক হীন দীন অকিঞ্চন ছার ।

Give up your false ego, and always consider yourself lower than grass, poor, needy, and mean.
