Yukta-Vairagya: The Right Perspective His Divine Grace Om Vishnupad
[His Divine Grace is reading from Sri Sri Prema-vivarta, Chapter 9] We do not mix with those who are not loyal to Gurudev, to Guru Maharaj. They may be great big Vaishnavs, they may even think they are Rupa Manjari, Lavanga Manjari, or some other manjari, but we are servants of the servants of Radharani, servants of great Vaishnavs, of Rupa Goswami, Sanatan Goswami, of Gurudev. We do not think we are Vaishnavs—we want to serve Vaishnavs. That is our quality. You must accept what is favourable to devotion and reject what is unfavourable to devotion. Always follow yukta-vairagya, proper renunciation:
Mahaprabhu told to Raghunath Das Goswami,
'Deha-rami' means 'a sensualist'.
What is necessary in our life?
If you do not have money, it is not a problem—you can just serve with some water and Tulasi and keep Lord Krishna in your heart. Unfortunately, however, you get a wife, friends, parents—you get some happiness and, enjoying with that, you forget Krishna. You must think: who gave you your parents, wife, and children? You got it from the Lord, from Gaura-Nitai, from Krishna, but once you get it, you forget about it. If Krishna wishes, He can remove your happiness, He can take everything away—your parents, children, wife...
