"I am not hopeless"

Past few days I have been very busy with preaching for Sri Sri Nabadwip Dham parikrama. Tomorrow I was supposed to attend a programme in Basirhat, it is 50 km from here, but I postponed it. They are very unhappy, but I told them that my priority is the devotees and the parikrama in Nabadwip Dham—devotees are coming from various countries to join the parikrama, so my first priority is them. I want to give some association to them, and I want their association also. That is why I postponed the programme tomorrow. They have already arranged everything (got the vegetables, etc.), but I said, "Please forgive my offence, but I cannot come now." I had some job in Kolkata today, I finished it, and I had also gone out for rice collection for so many days and finished that too.

We try so many things, but everything depends upon Lord Krishna, our Gurudev. He is always our guardian, and we are all instruments—we cannot do anything. We only try our best, but the result will come through him.

We have tried to go to Nabadwip again and again—we have even got the High Court order in our favour—but there is too much illusory environment, that is why we cannot enter our destination. Gurudev always tests us, tests me also. I do not have so many qualities and so much qualification, but my Gurudev is very powerful. So many times there were difficulties at Gaura Purnima time. Two time they filed false cases against me and I could not join Gaura Purnima at first, but by the mercy of Gurudev I could finally join the last days. When I was in jail, I got the bail, but even then there was some illusory environment and I could not attend full parikrama, but finally, on the last day of the parikrama, one day before Gaura Purnima, I entered and joined Chaitanya Saraswat Math Temple. This has been happening for many years now and two years were like that but we finally did go for Gaura Purnima.

They are always trying to stop us—maya is always trying. It is Kali-prabhav, Kali-yuga, and Kali Maharaj is very powerful. That is why we must fight—we must fight against maya in this world.

Anyhow, I am not hopeless. I printed the Gaura Purnima invitation card two months ago and have been going to many villages for preaching. I have done parikrama in many villages, have gone for rice collection, potato collection. I have done everything, but Krishna is the arranger—He is doing everything—that is why we depend upon Krishna.

Devotees always ask, "When will Maharaj go to Nabadwip?" Many phone calls came today, devotees are asking, "What will we do? Should we come or not?" Thousands and thousands of people are coming and they are calling me, "Maharaj, what should we do? Where will we go for parikrama?" I told them, "What is the problem? Sriman Mahaprabhu—Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu—also left Nabadwip (Gurudev said Mahaprabhu rejected Nabadwip and accepted Puri). Chaitanya Mahaprabhu left everything and lived in Puri at Kashi Mishra's house in Gambhira, but how many temples did He make? For a sannyasi, a sadhu, there is no problem—he sits under a tree and goes preaching here and there from there. It is not necessary for a sannyasi to stay at a particular house. A sannyasi goes here and there and preaches." They understood what I wanted to say.

Wherever Gurudev is, there are our main things; wherever Gurudev is, we will go there. That is our main vision.
