I am very happy because we are going to celebrate the festival of the temple inauguration anniversary in London, as we do every year on this day.

From the time the temple was established, I have not been able to go there because of my legal problem, but even though my body is not there, my mind and heart, my everything is actually there with you all, all the devotees. Gurudev said that London Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math was one corner, one room of Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math Nabadwip, head office, and I always remember that.

I am very happy to see that many devotees and some sannyasis have come to attend the festival. It was Gurudev's desire to have a temple there because before we had only one centre in Green Street. Gurudev went there and always said that the centre was very small and if we could get a bigger centre, it would be good. It was not possible in Gurudev's time, but after that by Gurudev's strong desire and Gurudev's mercy we could finally make this ashram with the help of the devotees who had contributed so much.

Sripad Bharati Maharaj and Lalita Madhava Prabhu contributed much money at that time to purchase the house. After that, Saraswati Devi Dasi took charge of the management and many other devotees like Lavanya Moyi Didi, Devashish Prabhu, Sachi Devi and Sripad Mahayogi Maharaj also helped the temple financially. This is how Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math London, Hatton Cross, happened. Finally, the Deity also came from the Green Street Temple, so now both temples have Deities, the worship is going on properly at both places, and so many Western devotees from other countries like Venezuela, Colombia, etc. come to help run the temple.
