sri-krsna-chaitanya prabhu nityananda
hare krsna hare krsna krsna krsna hare hare When your mind goes to some other place, or when it gives some disturbance, you must always loudly chant this Hare Krishna maha-mantra. By the mercy of Gurudev, by the mercy of devotees, we are present here, in Vijayawada. We did some programme here yesterday also, and today we have been to the temples of Pana Nrisingha and Laksmi Nrisingha. Actually, you are very fortunate souls because you live near Laksmi Nrisingha, Pana Nrisingha temples. You should understand how much devotion Prahlad Maharaj has, and what his devotion, his desire and mood of devotion are like; you should also read Srimad Bhagavatam. Prahlad Maharaj has a disinterested nature, he never thinks about himself: whenever we worship any demigod or god, we always ask for something for our own benefit, but Prahlad Maharaj said, "Prabhu, please remove that kind of asking mood from my heart." Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu also came here—the Lord Himself came here to pay obeisance to Lord Nrisinghadev, and He asked Nrisinghadev for mercy. Nija achari' dharma sikhaya (নিজে আচারি' ধর্ম্ম শিখায়): He poses as a student, as a devotee. The Lord Himself comes as a devotee and He shows us that we must worship Lord Nrisingha. That is why at our temple we have established singing the pranam-mantra of Nrisinghadev as the arati:
jaya nrsimha, sri nrsimha, jaya jaya nrsimha "All glories to Nrisinghadev! All glories to Nrisinghadev, who is the Lord of Prahlad Maharaj and, like a honeybee, is always engaged in beholding the lotus face of the goddess of fortune." Our Gurudev, Om Vishnupad Srila Bhakti Sundar Govinda Dev-Goswami Maharaj, also chanted this pranam-mantra song. By the mercy of Gurudev, last year we installed the Deities of Laksmi Nrisingha and Prahlad Maharaj in Nrisingha Palli, Nabadwip Dham, Godrumdwip. Srila Bhakti Siddhanta Saraswati Thakur, the acharya of Gaudiya Math and the main acharya of our Guru-parampara line, also installed the Deities of Laksmi Nrisingha in Yogapith. Prabhupad Srila Bhakti Siddhanta Saraswati Thakur said that Nrisinghadev always went to Yogapith to see the arati of Lord Nitai Chaitanyadev, the arati of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, the arati of Radha Krishna, but now that Laksmi Nrisingha had appeared in Yogapith, it was not necessary for Him to come from His place—now He can always see the arati there. By the mercy of Gurudev, Laksmi Nrisingha appeared in Chaitanya Saraswat Math also—in Nrisingha-tala, Nrisinghapur (Godrumdwip, Nabadwip), so now it is not necessary for Him to come to Yogapith also—Lord Nrisinghadev can see the arati of Nitai Chaitanyadev from where He is seated.
