How are you? I see that everybody is preaching so much that they are not even getting time to shave, are they? I am surprised to see you with such a big beard – too much black hair. I am thinking you are becoming a babaji...

Here is Srila Ashram Maharaj, he is here with us today.

I am very happy to see you all because I know that you preach very nicely, your service mood is very nice, and you practise proper Krishna consciousness. I am very happy to see you all. Gurudev and Guru Maharaj are always with you all and Krishna's and Gurudev's blessings are always with you because you follow the proper line, proper conception and proper consciousness. I am very happy about that.

Gurudev's last words were, 'Wherever you live, in a house or in a forest, wherever you may be, it does not matter – you must practise Krishna consciousness properly wherever you are.' He also said, 'Do not forget me. Do not forget Krishna.'

Actually, we must understand our relationship with the Lord properly. We forgot this relationship under the influence of the illusory environment – attacked by the illusory environment, we forgot our service and this connection, and that is why we were suffering so much. But, by the mercy of Gurudev, one day we got the association of a guru, and at that time our gurudev gave us the right to serve the Lord again. Actually, Krishna is gurudev's property, so only a Vaishnav or a guru can give that property to us – only they can engage us in some service to Supreme Personality of Godhead.

I invite you all to come here. You can sometimes send some devotees here so that they can come and serve here. Send some devotees here to stay with me. Come at Gaura Purnima or any other festivals. Join us and you can get great benefit. You will get the association of great sadhus here because so many devotees always come here from all over the world; you can get their association here.

I think somebody is waiting for initiation today. Where are they? I want to see their faces. All right, very nice. Actually, I want to say a few words first.

What for are you going to take initiation? You should take initiation to serve the Lord, to serve your guru. This is what one takes initiation for. So, after taking initiation, you should engage yourselves in service – you should serve your guru and chant the Holy Name. This is how you will practise Krishna consciousness. You must follow all rules and regulations. I am sure that the devotees have explained everything to you. There are four regulative principles: you must avoid gambling, drinking alcohol, illegal sex and do not eat fish, meat, eggs, etc. Follow ekadasi. Finally, your quality must be 'humility, tolerance and giving honour to others'. Be humble, tolerant and give honour to others – these will be your qualities.

These are the main things you must follow.
