If you visit Gaudiya temples, you will see three kinds of Deities: Radha-Govinda, Radha-Gopinath and Radha-Madan-mohan. These three Deities have hijacked Gaudiya Vaishnavs. They were worshipped and served by Srila Rupa Goswami Prabhu, Srila Sanatan Goswami Prabhu and Srila Madhu Pandit, as well as many other great souls, including Srila Narottam Das Thakur and Srila Jiva Goswami Prabhu. If you go to Vrindavan, you can have the darshan of all their places. We also go there every year during the Kartik month. If you want to come with us, let us know – everybody can come with us. We make two tours every year, to Sri Puri Dham and to Sri Vrindavan Dham. Sri Puri Dham pilgrimage has already passed, but if you want to come with us to Vrindavan later this year, let us know and have your name listed. We will leave on 25 October and return on 8 November.

‘I offer my obeisance to him who perfectly fulfils his gurudev’s most cherished desires; who is fully adorned with the blessings of his gurudev’s associates; who is expert in all conceivable and inconceivable aspects of Vedic knowledge; who is the pre-eminent follower of Srila Rupa Goswami Prabhu’s line; who is known as “Govinda” (Srila Bhakti Sundar Govinda Dev-Goswami Maharaj); whose beautiful, effulgent, exalted form is infused with pure devotion; who is the guru of the entire universe; and who is the giver of the seed of divine love for the Supreme Lord.’

After that, I am offering my full obeisance to all guru-varga, all my godbrothers, all the listeners, all the motherly lady devotees and all the devotees. I am offering my obeisance at your holy feet and praying for your mercy to this lowly soul.

Today is a very auspicious day. It is my first time observing the festival of Sri Krishna Janmastami here, at our Sri Tarakeswar Math. We observe this day at different places every day. This festival is actually observed everywhere, at each of the temples, but whenever I come, more people come and get a chance to attend this festival. So, today, praying for the mercy of our Sri Gurupadpadma and guru-varga, I have come to Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math in Tarakeswar to try to speak and listen about Lord Krishna, about the Lord. Today is Lord Sri Krishna's jayanta utsav (birthday festival) – a great festival in honour Lord Sri Krishnachandra's holy appearance that took place for the eternal benefit of this earth (bhuvana-mangala avirbhav maha-matotsav).

On this holy day, this lowly soul is offering his prostrate obeisance at the holy feet of you all. I pray to and worship the holy feet of my guru-varga, as well as of all the Vaishnavs, all the motherly lady devotees, of you all.

Except for Lord Krishna's appearance in the heart of the jiva soul, there is no other path, no other shelter – everything else is meaningless and futile. Any day when Lord Krishna does not appear in the heart of the soul is a wasted day. Lord Krishna's appearance in the heart is very necessary for every single living entity. Lord Krishna does not appear only in a particular place – it is very necessary to allow Him to appear in the heart of every soul. If the appearance of Lord Krishna does not truly take place within the jiva soul's life, activities and conception, then the whole life of such a soul passed absolutely in vain.
