His Divine Grace Om Vishnupad
Srila Bhakti Nirmal Acharya Maharaj
Sri Ekachakra Dham, evening class
5 February 2020, part 8
Translated from Bengali

Sri Nityananda Prabhu left Padmavati Devi and Hadai Pandit and roamed door to door to deliver this world. In Nabadwip, Srivas Pandit's wife Sri Malini Devi had very much affection for Nityananda Prabhu. She was not a young woman, but Nityananda Prabhu treated her as His mother—so much so that milk would flow from Malini Devi's breasts, amd Nityananda Prabhu drank it. Do you understand what kind of vatsalya-prema this is? Malini Devi has so much divine parental love for Nityananda Prabhu that milk would flow from her breasts.

You know, one day, a crow came and carried away a pot that Malini Devi was using for worship. Malini Devi began to cry, "Srivas Pandit will get to know about it, and he will scold me for not taking care of the Lord's things. How did this crow take it?" Then, Nityananda Prabhu came home and saw his Matri Devi (holy mother) crying. He asked,

"Mother, what has happened? Why are you crying?"

Malini Devi said, "Just look at it. If Prabhu comes and finds out about it, he will scold me. A crow has come and flown away with a pot!"

Then, Nityananda Prabhu said, "Mother, do not worry," and He cried out to the crow, "Hey, crow! My mother is crying! Give the pot back!"

Suddenly, the crow came back, kept the pot in its place, and flew away. Seeing this, Malini Devi thought, "Gosh, He is not an ordinary man!" and started singing the glories of Nityananda Prabhu.

There are so many pastimes of Nityananda Prabhu like that. Here too, at the appearance place of Sri Nityananda Prabhu, dacoits came to burgle the house, but Nityananda Prabhu rescued those dacoits. They tried to burgle the house on the first day, second day, third day, and finally, on the last day, the ring leader of those dacoits became blind! He came to Nityananda Prabhu and prayed, "Prabhu, I want to serve You." Nityananda Prabhu agreed, "All right, you do not need to serve right here, but you can go and tell all your dacoit friends about the Name of Gaura! Spread the Name of Gaura among all your dacoits."

The day after tomorrow is the holy appearance day of this Nityananda Prabhu. Who is there in this world who is truly close and dear to you except for Nityananda Prabhu? Who else can you call your dear and near? If you can get the mercy of Nityananda Prabhu, you will get the mercy of Gauranga. Nityananda Prabhu is Guru-tattva. You cannot get anything without the mercy of Gurudev... We want the mercy of this Nityananda Prabhu.

[Sounds of kirtan coming from another temple nearby.] Can you hear the kirtan they are singing? This is the sankirtan of apasampradaya (misconception movements). This is such a big offence of the Holy Name. In this world, people mostly make offences against the Holy Name...

Dignity of Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math: (1) At the Roots
'..This is how we, very fallen souls, by the mercy of Gurudev also got an opportunity to take shelter of such a bona fide Guru as he is. That is our happiness, that is our joy, that is our great luck and great fortune.'

Samsara-davanala
'I offer my obeisance unto the lotus feet of Sri Guru, who is said by all the scriptures to be the Lord Himself, and considered to be so by the sadhus, yet is the Lord's beloved devotee.'

Some may think that because the ant eats little it is a sadhu, but the elephant carries Lord Krishna on its back, so while the elephant does service, the ant only bites.
