(3/3) Always Chant

[His Divine Grace gives four initiations, below is the summary.]

Put the neckbeads on the devotee and then give them the chanting beads. Repeat after me:

শ্রীকৃষ্ণচৈতন্য প্রভু নিত্যানন্দ ।
শ্রীঅদ্বৈত গদাধর শ্রীবাসাদি গৌরভক্তবৃন্দ ॥

sri-krsna-chaitanya prabhu nityananda
sri-advaita gadadhara srivasadi gaura-bhakta-vrnda

This is the Pancha-tattva's Name. You must first chant Their Name because They have brought this Holy Name to this abode and we cannot chant without Their mercy. So, first chant Pancha-tattva's Name, ask Them for mercy, and then start chanting from the big beads. I am going to chant now, you can only listen (do not repeat after me):

হরে কৃষ্ণ হরে কৃষ্ণ কৃষ্ণ কৃষ্ণ হরে হরে ।
হরে রাম হরে রাম রাম রাম হরে হরে ॥

Chant in this way, bead by bead, from the big beads to the small beads, then turn the beads and chant from the small beads to the big beads. Do not cross the sumaru bead. Chant sixteen rounds or more in this way. If you are busy with service any day, then you can chant at least four rounds. Four rounds must be chanted every day. And at other times, you can chant without beads: when you are working or doing some other service. You can chant only with your mouth. When you are resting, taking prasadam or even going to the bathroom, you can also chant the Holy Name at that time but without beads. Always chant loudly; when you see devotees, say, 'Hare Krishna!' Always chant Krishna's Name, it is good for you. Chant in this way and Krishna will reveal Himself in your heart, you will succeed in your spiritual life.

There is also this ten offences book. You must read what these ten offences are and avoid them. If you chant this Holy Name without offences, you will get the result quickly. You will get the result quickly and you can succeed in your spiritual life.

Your name will be Mallika Devi Dasi. Mallika is a Vraja-gopi's name. It is actually one flower's name.

Your name will be Madhavilata Devi Dasi. That is the name of one gopi, and also a flower plant. The madhavi tree is a tree that is very dear to Radharani (She always picks madhavi flowers).

[A devotee recites the mantra 'idam sa-chandana puspam aim sri gurave namah'. His Divine Grace notes softly.] 'Aim gurave namah' is not... I know it very well; a brahmachari house.... [His Divine Grace does not finish the thought and continues to address the devotees.]

Thank you very much, everyone. I was very happy to see you all. I know that all the devotees in Caracas, Venezuela, are doing so much in this pandemic situation and amidst so many problems in their country. Still, they have come to the temple and made a festival. Coronasur cannot stop the chanting of the Holy Name, cannot stop a festival, guru-puja and service to Parama Karuna Nitai Gaurachandra. I am very happy to see that. I have heard how much you are all suffering in Venezuela financially and economically. Almost all devotees have left the country, but you are still serving Parama Karuna in Caracas all together. This is an example for devotees and temples all over the world. You are getting so many austerities, but you should always remember Prahlad Maharaj and how many austerities he got. We are not getting such austerities like him, not even 1% of what he went through. Despite all difficulties, you are still serving, and I am very happy to see and hear that.
