Do you have any questions? You have heard many things today, is there anything you want to know? You should read books. If you read and do not understand something, you can ask questions. When we offer to buy books, people say, 'Oh, I do not have money for books,' but you have money to buy sweets and nice fragrant oil for your head. You can buy keo-karpin oil for three hundred rupees, but you do not have fifty or twenty rupees to buy a book. You can buy a small kirtan guide book for twenty rupees and chant kirtans at home. It is not necessary to chant kirtans with some tune – when you chanting kirtan, you are calling the Lord. 'Gurudev, krpa-bindu diya: Gurudev! Please give me your mercy!' It is a very beautiful kirtan, we sing it every morning.

গুরুদেব!
কৃপাবিন্দু দিয়া কর এই দাসে
তৃণাপেক্ষা অতি দীন ।
সকল সহনে বল দিয়া কর
নিজমানে স্পৃহাহীন ॥

gurudeva!
krpa-bindu diya kara' ei dase
trnapeksa ati dina
sakala sahane bala diya kara
nija-mane sprha-hina

'O Gurudev! Give this servant a drop of your mercy. I am lower than a blade of grass. Please help me tolerate everything and become free from any selfish desires.'

'I am poorer, lower than grass! I pray that I can tolerate everything. Gurudev, please help me tolerate everything.'

সকলে সম্মান করিতে শকতি
দেহ' নাথ ! যথাযথ ।

sakale sammana karite sakati,
deha natha! yatha yatha

'Gurudev! Please give me such power that I can give proper honour to everyone.'

We must give honour to everyone, that is why we say to Gurudev, 'O Gurudev! Please give me power to tolerate everything. Somebody can insult me, somebody can say bad things about me, but may I not harbour any bad feelings. If they feel happy to scold me, let them do so and be happy then. I have no objection. What loss is it to me? If somebody criticises me, what loss is it to me? My Lord, please give me strength to give honour to everybody.'

সকলে সম্মান করিতে শকতি
দেহ' নাথ ! যথাযথ ।
তবে ত' গাইব হরিনাম সুখে
অপরাধ হবে হত ॥

sakale sammana karite sakati,
deha natha! yatha yatha
tabe ta' gaiba hari-nama sukhe,
aparadha habe hata

'O master! Give me the strength to give proper honour to everyone, then I will happily chant the Lord's Name and all my offences will be removed.'

'Gurudev, if you give me your mercy, I will become free from offences and I will be able to chant the Holy Name.' We pray like this chanting this kirtan. This is a very beautiful kirtan.
