Protecting Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math

...That is the news from here, Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math in Sri Nrisingha Palli, Nabadwip. This is what happened today. All this is only possible by the mercy of Gurudev.

I have seen how Gurudev protects his temple, Srila Sridhar Maharaj's temple. In one sense, I am very unfortunate because I tried so hard to protect Gurudev's mission after Gurudev but could not do it. In another way, at least I could protect Gurudev's devotees. Also, I heard some news this afternoon that some of those whom Gurudev did not like were not present today at the festival at the mul-math Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math. So, Gurudev protects this mission...

Gurudev made his declaration on 4 December 2009, and shortly after that he sent me with Srila Ashram Maharaj to Australia, but when I left somebody gave Gurudev a very bad letter that gave a very deep pain to his heart. I remember when I was on my way to Australia (when I was in the Kuala Lumpur airport in Malaysia), Gurudev phoned me and asked, "Where are you now?" I said I was in Kuala Lumpur at the airport, going to Australia, and Gurudev said, "There is a big problem here. I will manage something from here, but you must cut your foreign tour shorter. You are supposed to be away fifteen days, but you must come back in seven days, Srila Ashram Maharaj can stay there." So, I left Australia earlier and went back to India. Upon arrival, I went straight to Nabadwip and came to Gurudev. Gurudev then gave me that letter, and I saw how many bad words they used—they told Gurudev very bad and painful words, I could not even repeat it. After that, Gurudev said, "I cannot stay here any more. I will leave Nabadwip tomorrow early in the morning."

The next day Gurudev left, and normally he always went to the Deities and samadhi mandir of Srila Sridhar Maharaj to pay his dandavat, but that time he did not even go to the samadhi mandir. He only stopped for a few seconds at the Centenary building and, looking up at Srila Guru Maharaj's room with folded palms, he said, "Guru Maharaj, please protect this mission." This is how Gurudev left Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math.

You all know what happened after that better than me. So many things happened. All foreign devotees, all senior leaders were harassed by them so much. You are giving so much energy, so much money for Chaitanya Saraswat Math, but what to speak of giving any respect to you, they actually beat you all! It is very painful. I stayed there for as long as I could, and I would have tried to stay more and more, but those who stayed near me heard some message that they would kill me, so they forcefully removed me from Nabadwip saying, "You will die if you stay here!" This is how I left Nabadwip and came to Dum Dum Park.

This is what happened, and now Gurudev's mission is still running, I am very happy about it. All the devotees, all Gurudev's disciples are with us—you all always keep Gurudev and myself also in your heart, and Gurudev also keeps you in his heart. I have told all my disciples who live here that I always want to be a disciple—I do not want and have never wanted to be a guru. All I want is to always be a disciple. If I think that I have become a guru, then my ego (abhiman) will come. That is why, I always want to be a disciple. Such is my situation.
