"Come Back to Your Home" His Divine Grace Om Vishnupad
Srila Sanatan Goswami also asked Mahaprabhu, "What is the goal of life? How can one attain it?" The goal of life is devotion to the Lord and returning to the Lord. Back to God, back to home. Come back to your own home! Where you are now is not your home. Somebody is in America, somebody in Mexico, somebody in London, somebody in Russia, somebody in Bangladesh, somebody in Pakistan, somebody is in a goshala, flies are in a garden, snakes are in their snakes' place, goats are in their goats' place—everybody must return to their own home! We must reach our real home. We must go to the place where we all come from. What must you do to get there? "Bhagavata pada Vaisnavera sthane, ekanta asraya kara Chaitanya-charane (ভাগবত পড় বৈষ্ণবের স্থানে, একান্ত আশ্রয় কর চৈতন্য-চরণে). Read Bhagavatam under the guidance of bona fide Vaishnavs and take shelter at Mahaprabhu's lotus feet." We must take exclusive shelter in Gauranga Mahaprabhu. The Supreme Lord Sri Krishna comes to this age of Kali as Gauranga Mahaprabhu, a combined form of Sri Radha and Krishna. Somebody asked me, "Gadadhar is the incarnation of Srimati Radharani, then how is it possible that Gauranga Mahaprabhu is a combined form of Sri Radha and Krishna?" They do not know it. Krishna has taken the heart and halo of Srimati Radharani. Halo means the colour of the body, and heart means the mood. Does one only have mood and colour? Is there nothing besides that? Of course there is. So, Gadadhar took that which remained. So, Gauranga Mahaprabhu is a combined form of Sri Radha and Krishna. What did He do when He came to this world? He went door to door, telling everyone: "Wake up! Wake up, souls! Do not sleep!" ("Jiva jaga, jiva jaga, Gorachanda bale.") "I have come for you! You must come back to your home. You must go back to the place where you come from." This is "back to God, back to home." Come back to you home. This is the main thing.
