When the sun reaches its zenith and the noon time comes, devotees suspend their various service activities and gather to pray, in the cool, peaceful surrounding of the temples, to Guru, Vaishnavas, and the Lord. First is the noon arati to Sri Sada Siva Gangadhar.
Pranam Mantra for Sri Sada Siva Gangadhar:
The chief of the Devas, whose body is decorated by snakes, whose body shines like the moon, who has five heads, who carries his weapon known as Pasupat, who gives boons, who is of satisfied nature, who holds the Ganga on his head, who maintains those who give obeisance to him, who is easily pleased—I offer my obeisances to Sada Siva, who is dear to Hari, and whose crown is the moon.
Sri Sada Siva Arati
(ohe) vaisnava thakura dayara sagara
O worshippable Vaisnava, ocean of grace, be merciful to this servant. Give me the shade of your feet and purify me. I clasp your feet.
chhaya vega dami' chhaya dosa sodhi'
Subjugate the six urges, rectify the six defects, and bestow the six good qualities
upon this servant. Grant me the six kinds of good association. I have sat at your feet, desiring that association.
ekaki amara nahi paya bala
Alone I do not have the ability to properly chant the Lord's Name. Mercifully give me a drop of faith and bestow upon me the wealth of Krishna's Name.
krsna se tomara krsna dite para
Krsna is yours. You can give Krishna. You have that power. I am very poor. Calling, 'Krishna' 'Krishna', I run after you.
(ami) (dhai tava pachhe pachhe)
I run after you.
