His Divine Grace
Srila Bhakti Nirmal Acharya Maharaj,
Sri Nabadwip Dham, 31 March 2010, part 3

We always remember Gurudev through his words, through his service, if we follow his order... If somebody thinks, "Oh, Gurudev is not here, what will I go there for?" it is not correct. If you serve Gurudev's mission and serve Gurudev's devotees, Gurudev will be even happier.

I see that. Something happened the day before yesterday. I am managing three-four temples, and I have been thinking for the past one or two months, "Oh, there are not so many devotees in Siliguri. I cannot handle Mednipore, where Srila Bhakti Saranga Goswami Maharaj has arranged a temple for us. There is no cook in Ekachakra," but then suddenly I managed to send three good devotees in one day to Siliguri, Mednipore, and Ekachakra. There was also some problem in Bamunpara, but it is resolved now. Do you see? How is it possible? It is the will of Gurudev.

If you wish to do some service, Gurudev comes and does everything. You think Gurudev is not here, but I understand now that he is doing everything. Just think about it: I have been trying and trying to find devotees for one or two months, but I could not find anybody, but as soon as Gurudev left his body, everything immediately happened. Gurudev is doing everything. I can understand that no problem will come. Of course, any problem can come at any time, but Gurudev can solve everything, we must only remember him.

I had been trying to find a cook for Ekachakra for two-three or maybe even six months, but I could not get anyone. In Siliguri, there are no devotees in the temple—there are only two devotees staying there, but they do not give class, and the temple is going down. However, as soon as Gurudev left, a devotee suddenly came to me, saying, "Maharaj, can I go to Siliguri? I can give class." I was shy to ask him myself, but he came to me and ask to go there himself. Who gave him that inspiration? Gurudev. Gurudev inspired him, and he came to me. I was shy to ask him, but he himself came to me, and I send him there yesterday. This is what happened. There is also one very good cook living nearby. He came to me and said, "Maharaj, can I go to Ekachakra to cook?" I told him, "Yes! Of course!" That is what happened. I see it as Gurudev's inspiration, Gurudev's will. Everything will happen and everything will be solved in this way. Do not worry about anything.

I was thinking how we will make Gurudev's samadhi... Somebody thinks, "Oh, there is no money, how will it be managed?" but I see that since Saturday, when Gurudev left, so much money has been coming—everybody is calling and sending money. Then, I am thinking we can finish Gurudev's bhajan kutir and samadhi mandir here within two-three months. So, do not worry, everything is the will of Gurudev.

He is the master, and everything will happen according to his will because he is is Rupanuga-dhara (the holder of the divine live of Srila Rupa Goswmai). He has got mercy, just like Srila Rupa Goswami Prabhu did. Mahaprabhu asked Svarup Damodar, "How does this boy know this kind of slokas? How does He know me?!" And Svarup Damodar replied:

ঈশ্বরের কৃপা-লেশ হয় ত' যাহারে ।
সেই ত' ঈশ্বর-তত্ত্ব জানিবারে পারে ॥

isvarera krpa-lesa haya ta' yahare
sei ta' isvara-tattva janibare pare

"Only those who receive even a trace of the Lord's mercy, can understand the Lord."

(Chaitanya-charitamrita, Madhya-lila, 6.83)

"When somebody gets the mercy of the Lord, who can stop them? You Yourself have given him mercy, and now You are asking where he has got mercy from and how he knows You!" Mahaprabhu said, "Yes! Yes, I have given him mercy, but it is not sufficient. You are all devotees, and you must give your mercy to him!" This is Mahaprabhu's conception.

Gurudev has given me affection, but I am asking all the devotees: Please come. Please, I want to do Gurudev's service together. I want to proceed together for the service of Gurudev. We are all under one umbrella, we all belong to one house. We come from the same house; we are one family, and this family's name is Chaitanya Saraswat Math. Who is the guardian of this family? It is our Gurudev.

Gurudev is our main guardian. Through Srila Sridhar Dev-Goswami Maharaj's inspiration, he received this guardianship, and if we can serve his mission under his guidance, it will be very good. This is his instruction. Therefore, we must fulfil Gurudev's desire. Do not stop anything. Continue running the mission, do not stop. Some disturbance will come—in an ocean, sometimes a wave can come, but you must not worry about it. Do not think about it. Go forward. That is our hope. Only by Gurudev's mercy can we continue and reach our goal, reach our home. Back to God, back to home.

As I have said, we all come from the same house. We are not Indian, Russian, American, Mexican, or Australian. We come from the same house, and that house is Chaitanya Saraswat Math, and Gurudev is the guardian. We can go wherever he is and serve him there. He is waiting for us—he went there first, when he calls us, we will come to meet him there. He is waiting for us there, and we can meet with him and serve him there. That is our hope. It is necessary to fulfil his desire and serve his mission here, then we can meet him.

Sri-rupa-manjari-pada
'The lotus feet of Sri Rupa Manjari are the mine of all rasas, they are the fulfilment of life, they are the dharma (prescribed religion) of the Vedas. Her lotus feet are my vows, my penance, my mantra, my japa. They are the ultimate purpose of life.'

We must not bargain with Bhagavan like in a grocery shop,
'I am serving the Guru, and I will get something in return.'
