His Divine Grace Om Vishnupad
Srila Bhakti Nirmal Acharya Maharaj
Speaking to the devotees in Colombia
October 2015

In this age of Kali, Harinam is the main means to get Krishna, but we take the second initiation to get more connection with the Guru, to get more connection and attachment with service, also the second initiation is necessary to cook and give archan, puja to the Deities.

You can chant Harinam maha-mantra everywhere—even in the bathroom, or toilet; but you cannot chant this gayatri mantra everywhere. You must recite the gayatri mantra not loudly, in a very soft voice, in front of the Deities. Face the East in the morning, and the North in the evening. You should recite the gayatri mantra in the morning, at noon, and in the evening, but if it is not possible, then you must recite it minimum two times a day.

You must first bathe, put tilaks on twelve places of your body, wear clean clothes, and purify yourself with the Ganges water. Then, on a clean asan (seat), you can recite the gayatri mantra. Place your right hand at your navel and counting on your fingers as I am showing you, recite the mantras ten times each.

Now I am giving you the mantras, you will not remember them now, but they will give you a paper where they are written, and you can read and remember the gayatri mantras and recite then them by memory.

Great Expectations
'Always be humble, practise, and whatever result comes, Krishna will give it. Do not hope for so many things, like, 'I want to go Goloka Vrindavan.' Your duty is to only do service, to please your Guru.'

Thakura vaisnava-gana
'Destiny is very powerful. It does not listen to my knowledge of religion and always binds me with the ropes of karma. I do not see even a trace of hope. All I see is hardship. Thus helpless and distressed, I cry.'
