When I see the devotees, when we can get association of the devotees, I am always very happy. I see your face and I can understand you are practising properly and you are always following Mahaprabhu's instruction, Mahaprabhu's preaching and conception. I can understand it seeing you now.

Mahaprabhu said you must always give up deceitful devotion:

লোক দেখান গোরা ভজা তিলক মাত্র ধরি ।
গোপনেতে অত্যাচার গোরা ধরে চুরি ॥

loka dekhana gora bhaja tilaka matra dhari'
gopanete atyachara gora dhare churi

Sri Sri Preva-vivarta, 8.7

"You are wearing tilak and showing to the world that you are a devotee, but actually you are not practising properly—hidingly you are doing nonsense. Gora knows you are a thief!"

We always say, "I am Gora's! I am Gora's! I am Gauranga Mahaprabhu's devotee." We say it, but we do not follow Chaitanya Mahaprabhu's conception. That is not good. If you follow Gora's conception, Gora's teachings, that will be good for you.

You must understand that Krishna has given you happiness and so much opulence—Krishna has given you a son, a daughter, parents, a husband, a wife—but Krishna can also take them away. We get everything and forget Krishna, that is not good. We have got everything for Him—the happiness we have got is also for Him.

When you get something, you forget Krishna, you forget the Lord, but you must always keep in your heart the teachings of Gurudev, Guru Maharaj, and Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. If you have money, you can make a temple, you can do many things, but if you have no money, it is not a problem—with water and Tulasi leaves you can worship the Lord and keep the Lord in your heart...
