On Mission's Integrity His Divine Grace Om Vishnupad
Gurudev started a boat, Chaitanya Saraswat Math boat, why will you make another boat? When Gurudev went to Australia, he said everybody must come under one umbrella and one devotee said, "Oh how they will come under one umbrella? Everybody has their own raincoat." This is an important thing, remember it. Gurudev started a boat, this Chaitanya Saraswat Math boat, and wherever this boat goes, you must be a passenger in this boat, then you will reach the place where the boat is going. This is Srila Sridhar Maharaj's temple, this Chaitanya Saraswat Math boat, and you should serve under the guidance of Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math—under guidance of those who are preaching about Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math. You can help them, you can participate in their activities in any way you can. You can do any service that you are good at—you can print books, you can even clean the boat (the temple), you can make garlands, you can do the gardening, you can go to goshala and serve the cows. Whatever service you do you can reach your goal—you can go to your Guru, then it will be a success in your spiritual life. Are there any questions from you? Devotee: I have a question, Maharaj. I am wondering if you can say something regarding the acharyas and their disciples and what your relationship with them is. Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu told this very clearly. I will give an example. Suppose you make a disciple. It is OK, not a problem. What will be the relation between me and your disciple? I will be their uncle. What is the problem? Chaitanya Mahaprabhu gave respect even to Ramachandra Puri. Ramachandra Puri always criticised Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and others, but Mahaprabhu gave him the highest position—he gave him a chair. You must learn from this. One time, Sripad Bhakti Vilas Tirtha Maharaj made some offence to Srila Sridhar Maharaj, but when Srila Bhakti Raksak Sridhar Dev-Goswami Maharaj was at the Nabadwip station he saw Bhakti Vilas Tirtha Maharaj and immediately sent my Guru to pay obeisance to Bhakti Vilas Tirtha Maharaj. Learn from them. Devotee: I have one more question. Some of your disciples are saying directly that those who are following other gurus cannot be a part of Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math. I had one follower very severely attack me and criticise me for so many things. This is not my desire. It is their problem. Actually, they want to be so fanatic, but it is not done in this way. I want to tell it openly that it is not Vaishnav etiquette. If you want to become my disciple you must be respectful to other Vaishnavs. If the Guru does not teach them, who will teach them then? At the same time, the disciple has some feeling—if somebody criticises me in front of my disciple, they will not tolerate that...
