Do you understand what I am telling? What is necessary to do now? Surrender to the Lord, surrender to a proper guru and chant the Holy Name. Does any of you want to again become cats, dogs and rats? Do you want that? If you do not, then you should chant the Holy Name, surrender to a proper guru and go to Goloka Vrindavan, your own home. Krishna is crying for us, 'I have lost My son!' and we are also crying for Him. This is loving search for the lost servant. There is a book by Srila Sridhar Dev-Goswami Maharaj with this name: Loving Search for the Lost Servant.

When Srila A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Maharaj Prabhupad went abroad, you know that he was quite old at that time. Many of his disciples and followers asked him later, 'Prabhupad, after you, who shall we go to? You are very old now...' In reply, Srila Swami Maharaj said, 'When you go to India, you should go to Nabadwip and see Srila Sridhar Maharaj. You can hear Hari-katha from him, it will give you real benefit.' After 1979, when Srila Prabhupad (Srila Swami Maharaj) left his body, many foreign devotees started coming to Srila Sridhar Maharaj from 1981–1982. Srila Sridhar Maharaj told those devotees, 'You can go to Srila Bhakti Sundar Govinda Dev-Goswami Maharaj, he will give proper attention, proper guidance to you.' That is how there appeared so many devotees and preaching centres all over the world. Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math has more than 150 centres now.

You can all come to our Math and join Sri Nabadwip Dham parikrama. You can also come with us to Puri Dham at the time of Ratha-yatra. We also do a Kartik parikrama of Vrindavan Dham during the niyom-seva month (Damodar month), you can join and stay with us. Join us on these parikramas and get real sweetness, real happiness.

There is a photograph that was taken when the main ISKCON temple in Mayapur was being inaugurated. In the photograph, there is Srila Sridhar Maharaj and Srila A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Maharaj Prabhupad, and near them is seated our Gurudev, wearing white clothes (he gave a lecture at that programme). You can see that photograph.

I am thinking your city's name is Masulipatnam [lit. 'fish port town'], but when will its name become Nitaigaurapatnam?

Devotee: They say that the previous name of Masulipatnam was Vrindavanpuram.

Yes, very good name! Why is it called Masulipatnam? Srimad Bhagavatam says that if you eat fish, you are eating your own flesh. How is it possible? When you leave your body, it will be burnt, turn into ash and end up in water. From that ash, another body will come, and that body can be a fish body. In the meantime, you can get a cat's body, and as a cat, you will eat very nice fish... That is Newton's third law: for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. This is science, not religion. For example, you are eating chicken now, and later that chicken will later get a human body and you will get a chicken body. This is what scriptures say, this is not something that I am saying.

Devotee [the host of the programme]: Whenever you come to South India, please do not forget this place, Masulipatnam. We hope that it will be Vrindavanpuram again. So, please come and spread Krishna-bhakti here. That is our earnest request to you.

That is also very important. I want to say that I will come again. I am accepting your invitation with my heart and soul. So, when I come to South India again, I will certainly come here. Actually, you are all my best friends, you are my family. My father, mother, etc. are not my family members – my family members are those who follow Krishna consciousness and chant the Holy Name. This is the main thing I want to tell you. Also, you are only getting good association, but you must understand that life is very short, we can die at any time – you keep cultivating and cultivating your land for ten–fifteen years, but you are not planting the seed in that land. When will your seed grow and turn into a tree? When will you get the fruit of that tree? Time is very short. Your land is already fertile, so put the holy seed in your hearts now.
