It is said in the scriptures that 'He who is full with all the six opulences of wealth, power, fame, beauty, knowledge and renunciation is known as Bhagavan, the Supreme Lord.' Lord Sri Krishna is the God of all Gods, the Master of all Masters.

Question: When you said that among millions of liberated men (mukta-purush) there is only one devotee of Krishna (Krishna-bhakta), how must we understand the word 'purush'? As men?

It does not mean a man. Here, it does not mean men in particular – millions of mukta-purush means both men and women, it refers to jiva souls in general. You can say millions of mukta jivas. What question of men can there be anyway? It is said in the scriptures that Lord Krishna is the only male, and everybody else is female. It is only for His pastimes that He creates all the men and women (Lord Brahma creates them by the wish of Lord Krishna). The duration of Kali-yuga is 432,000 years, and only about 5,534 years have passed so far. There is still much time left. When this age passes, almost everybody will go back to the abode of the Lord. Some very few souls will remain in this world – those who have demoniac mentality will stay here; but more or less everybody will go to the abode of the Lord – somebody will go there tomorrow, somebody will go there after 432,000 years. Kalki Maharaj will come in Sambalpur in Odisha. Riding a horse, He will slay all demons with His sword. This entire world will be annihilated – no buildings, nothing will remain. After that, Lord Krishna will again create Brahma and tell him to create the world again. And then everything will start again.

Question: They say that sages are many thousands of years old. Is that true?

Yes. They lived in Satya-yuga. All people in Satya-yuga actually lived for 100,000 years. In Treta-yuga, people lived for 10,000 years; in Dvapar-yuga, for 1,000 years; and in Kali-yuga, only for 120 years. Now actually most people do not live even 120 years because they eat modified food that spoils their health. Have you ever met people from previous times? They could drink fresh (raw) milk. My parental grandfather would drink six litres of raw milk. If you drink even one hundred grams of raw milk, you will spend three days in the toilet.

Devotee (elderly): I remember how happy I would get when my mother fed me raw milk.

And can you drink it now?

Devotee: I can drink it but diluted.

Very good! And if you offer milk to the Lord and take prasad, then cows will get some benefit. We do not prohibit anyone to drink milk. But do not drink milk together with alcohol. [His Divine Grace laughs.]

Devotee: Yes, you told about it yesterday. I do not drink alcohol.

Yes. I am not telling this to you only. I am telling it to everybody. People drink milk, but they also drink alcohol, they smoke, they take drugs, they drink tea, etc. I know that you are all good people, you are not doing it. You know, some foreign devotees sell herbal tea. Many people drink liquor, but we cannot offer it to the Lord, then why will we take it? We cannot offer tea to the Lord, then why will we drink it? For example, if you are habituated to take muri (puffed rice), you can offer it to the Lord and take it as prasad. You can offer whatever you like taking.

You know, it is said in the scriptures that if you buy some meat at the market and eat it and if you offer meat to Kali and take it, there is a big difference because in the second case, you take Kali's prasad, so there is a little less offence in it. Both are killing, so both are wrong! But who will understand these things?

Question: Kali is also a Vaishnavi, is she not?

Yes, she is. She worship the Lord, too. The problem is that when people worship Kali or Durga, they do it for their own interest. It is said that when you worship Kali, you must sacrifice your own demoniac nature to her, but people instead sacrifice goats. Muslim people sacrifice cows, but what does their Hafiz (Quran) say? It says there that you can kill an animal only if you can give life to an animal. Can we give life?

Question: Did Krishna not become Kali once?

He did, and then many say that Krishna and Kali or Krishna are Siva are one and the same. This is wrong. Krishna can become Kali, but Kali can never become Krishna. You can make yoghurt from milk, but you can never make milk from yoghurt. The sun rises in the morning, sets in the evening and then again rises in the morning. I went to Saint Petersburg in Russia two times, we have a temple on the bank of the Baltic sea there. When I came there the first time, the sun set only for twenty–thirty minutes – the sun set and then again rose in twenty minutes! There is sun in the sky the whole day. We are used to getting sleepy when the sun sets, but when it was light the whole day, it was very hard to sleep. I tried blocking the window with a gumcha to make the room dark, but I still could not sleep. So, what I am saying is that we keep our time according to the position of the sun, but it is not that the sun runs according to our time. The sun controls the time – the time cannot control the sun.
