You have been listening to the nectarean glories of Sriman Nityananda Prabhu for the past few days, but there are also foreign devotees sitting among us: they do not understand Bengali, but they sit quietly, waiting to hear something from me. So, I request you to please sit quietly, too, and listen. I will first speak in English for ten minutes and then again in Bengali. All right? If you come from far and cannot hear anything, you will be sad, too. So, please sit quietly and listen while I speak English. Actually, as you listen and listen to English, you will start understanding it.

By the mercy of Gurudev and by the mercy of Nityananda Prabhu, we have celebrated Nityananda Prabhu's appearance festival, as well as the installation anniversary of Sri Sri Guru Gaura Nityananda Prabhu's Deities. We have celebrated this festival very nicely, and all the devotees all over the world participated in this festival. Devotee came to this festival from every corner of the would—from various countries abroad, as well as from all over Bengal and India. Today is the last day of our festival for this year and we look forward to this festival near year.

We must remember this Nityananda Prabhu's appearance festival every day—not only every day, but at every moment. We must always, at every moment remember how much mercy Nityananda Prabhu has bestowed all over this world. Even Brahma, even all the demigods wait for the mercy of Nityananda Prabhu, but the first thing we must realise is that we are fallen souls and have no quality, no qualification. We can only try to serve Nityananda Prabhu's devotees, Nityananda Prabhu's servitor. That is our only hope. We must understand that this is the only way how we can please Nityananda Prabhu.

Actually, it is impossible to understand Sriman Nityananda Prabhu. Gurudev also told that it is very difficult to understand Nityananda Prabhu. Even Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu also said that only a fortunate soul can understand Nityananda Prabhu—without fortune you cannot understand Nityananda Prabhu's behaviour, Nityananda Prabhu's dealings, Nityananda Prabhu's character. Only a fortunate soul can understand Nityananda Prabhu's mercy. It is not so easy.

We cannot understand Nityananda Prabhu and His mercy (kripa) because we do not have proper attachment to the service of Nityananda Prabhu's servitor. It is necessary to have proper attachment to a servitor of Nityananda Prabhu. That is the main thing for our spiritual life.

We cannot cross Nityananda Prabhu—we cannot get Gauranga Mahaprabhu or mercy of the Lord, Radha-Krishna, or anything else jumping over Nityananda Prabhu. There is only one channel through which we can go there—that channel is Nityananda Prabhu's mercy, and it comes in this Rupanuga line. This is how we can understand Nityananda Prabhu's tattva. There is not other way, no other channel.

Srila Rupa Goswami came to Gauranga Mahaprabhu through Nityananda Prabhu's mercy. Without Sri Rupa-Raghunath's mercy we cannot even think about getting a place in Sri Goloka Vrindavan. Srila Bhaktivinod Thakur also told that only by Nityananda Prabhu's mercy can you get the right to enter the market of the Holy Name (Nama-hatta). Without His mercy, we do not have any chance to chant the Holy Name. That is the main thing. It is not so easy to enter the market of the Name—you can easily enter the market of offences to the Name, but not the Name. If you want to enter the proper market of the Holy Name, you must first surrender to Nityananda Prabhu. That is the main thing. Surrender, have full faith, then you can understand everything—if you surrender to Nityananda Prabhu, you will get faith.
