Speaking online to the devotees in Caracas

I am very happy to see you all. We have recently returned from Vrindavan and there have been some preaching also here locally, I have attended some programmes this week, and today I have got the news that some devotees want to take initiation. I am very happy that the preaching is going on properly in Caracas.

You are very fortunate, and we are also fortunate, that Krishna Himself has come in this age of Kali as Gauranga Mahaprabhu, a combined form of Radha-Krishna. Coming as Gauranga Mahaprabhu, He has given us the best things.

Actually, we are suffering too much in this age of Kali because of so many obstacles in this world, we are suffering so much because we are always attacked by the illusory environment. However, we have got the mercy of Gurudev—the Lord Himself comes as a Guru and tells us who we are, what is our duty, what we have got the human body for, and for what purpose we must use this human body. This human body is not for only eating, sleeping, dancing and enjoying. No. This body is meant for the service to the Lord, for the service to the Guru and Vaishnavs.

If we use this body for this purpose, we will get proper benefit, but the problem is that we always follow our mind—we do what our mind tells us. This is not right. Through the scriptures, by listening to the Guru, by listening to great Vaishnavs, we must understand what is our duty. We must know that, and we must follow that. By listening to great sadhus we can understand everything—for what purpose we have got this human body, what this human body is for and what we must use this human body for. This body is not for only eating, sleeping, and enjoying. Krishna is the only enjoyer. We are not enjoyers, we are not renouncers—we are only servitors.
