By the mercy of Gurudev, we are present here today at this programme at Sita Thakurani's house.

Actually, in previous time, Sri Sita Thakurani is Advaita Prabhu's wife (patni). Advaita Prabhu had two wifes, Sri and Sita. Sita Devi cooked rice for Mahaprabhu, and when Mahaprabhu took sannyas, she went with Advaita Prabhu across the Ganges to their house in Shantipur. There, Sita Thakurani cooked thirty-two items for Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. After taking sannyas, Mahaprabhu took prasadam at Srivas Acharya's house on the day He took sannyas; after that, He walked for three days and two nights before coming to Shantipur. When He was given prasadam, He said, "Oh, I have got such nice prasadam after three days! I am very happy."

Remembering Mahaprabhu's pastimes, remembering His activities gives us enthusiasm.

Actually, there are many people who do not know anything about the true conception, who do not believe in Mahaprabhu, they say so many nonsense things about Mahaprabhu, but Mahaprabhu is actually Lord Krishna Himself. The Lord Himself comes in this age of Kali as Gauranga Mahaprabhu, Radha-Krishna's combined form.

Srimad Bhagavatam tells the symptoms of all incarnations (avatari) of Lord Krishna, and it mentions also the symptoms of the avatari for the age of Kali. So, before even the Kali-yuga avatari (Mahaprabhu) came, it was already written in Srimad Bhagavatam.

Indeed, who else could ever do this? What Mahaprabhu gave to us and what He spread all over the world—who else can give that to us? Mahaprabhu is param doyal, param vadanya (extremely merciful, extremely magnanimous). He is the greatest donor. Nobody else is capable of giving what He has given.

Before Mahaprabhu's coming, Srila Advaita Acharya and Srila Haridas Thakur would every day worship a salagram sila with Ganges water and Tulasi leaves to bring the Lord from the Goloka to this Bhu-loka (earth)—they brought the Lord to this world to rescue all fallen souls like us who do not know anything about Krishna, about Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, who do not know anything about Krishna consciousness. Therefore, we are fortunate that we are still continuing that line of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu.

We are fallen souls, but on the other hand we are also very fortunate because we have come in this age of Kali, we are born in a human body and we have got connection with Mahaprabhu's line, Srila Rupa Goswami's line, Sri Sri Rupa-Raghunath line, Sri Rupanuga-dhara conception—we got a bona fide guru, we have taken shelter of a bona fide guru, and we are trying to follow his order, we are trying to serve our Gurudev and to make him happy. That is our main goal.
