As a result of great fortune we have today got an opportunity to hear about the glories of Sriman Nityananda Prabhu.

It is our great fortune that we are present here today by the mercy of Sri Sri Guru Gauranga Gandharva Govinda Sundar. Bhoga will be offered to the Deities and then prasad distribution will start shortly; in the meantime, we will speak and hear about the Lord.

Time is very short. It is necessary to hear about the Lord the whole day, twenty-four hours a day.

সাধুসঙ্গে কৃষ্ণনামে—এই মাত্র চাই ।

সংসার জিনিতে আর কোন বস্তু নাই ॥

sadhu-sange krsna-nama—ei matra chai
samsara jinite ara kona vastu nai

"I desire only to chant the Name of Krishna in the association of sadhus. There is no other way to conquer this material world."

We became averse to Lord Krishna and have been averse to Him since time immemorial. We forgot the Lord, but if you want to come to the Lord, the main thing is sadhu-sanga (holy, saintly association). If we practise sravan and kirtan in sadhu-sanga, if we hear Hari-katha from the holy mouth of Sri Guru and sadhus, we will get supreme benefit. It is necessary to hear Hari-katha from the holy mouth of sadhus (saints). If you do not have taste for hearing it, then discourses about the Lord will never enter your ears.

If you want to get the mercy of Nityananda Prabhu, it is necessary to listen about the qualities and glories of Nityananda Prabhu and Gauranga.

Before establishing this temple, Guru Maharaj (Srila B.S. Govinda Dev-Goswami Maharaj) told me to first make Sri Hadai Pandit Padmavati Kunja. So, I first made the quarters for servitors and devotees to stay. After that, there was a lack of place, so we built one more floor (above the nat mandir) because devotees used to stay in a pandal, there were no bathrooms; it is very difficult for devotees, they had to struggle. So, nineteen more rooms were made upstairs. Also, the cooking was done in a pandal every year, so the kitchen was expanded so that the cooks could stay there, so that the devotees could cut vegetables comfortably and so that vegetables could be stored there without any problems.

You have made this parikrama of Sri Ekachakra, and soon is Sri Gaura Purnima festival. You can come one day before the ekadasi day and do Sri Nabadwip Dham parikrama.

গৌর আমার যে সব স্থানে
করল ভ্রমণ রঙ্গে ।
সে সব স্থান হেরিব আমি
প্রণয়ি-ভকত-সঙ্গে ॥

gaura amara ye-saba sthane
karala bhramana range
se-saba sthana heriba ami
pranayi-bhakata-sange

"In the company of loving devotees, I will behold all the places my Gaura roamed during His ecstatic pastimes."

Near the temple, there is a pond of Padmavati Devi (Padmavati Kunda). We did not go there because the place is not clean. This is the very pond from which Mother Padmavati would bring water. This place is full of devotees' foot dust. Mahaprabhu and all devotees (Advaita Acharya, Srivas Pandit, Malini Devi and others) also came here, to this holy land. You are also very fortunate to have come and to be present in this holy abode.

It is a great fortune to obtain this kind of sadhu-sanga. If we get sadhu-sanga, if we can hear this sadhu-sanga, then all dirt will be removed from our hearts...
