You are very simple-hearted, and you have simplicity. Actually, simplicity is Vaishnavism. So, it is necessary to have simplicity. You have this quality, and you are practising, you are trying. I have heard that many devotees there are trying hard to make a temple according to Gurudev's will. There is a big land in Govinda Dham, and it was Gurudev's desire to make a temple on this land. I am also praying to Gurudev to please give you some opportunity to make this temple for Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. Everybody should give contribute their energy, little by little, for the service of Govinda Dham. That is my prayer to everybody. If you try, Krishna will fulfil your desire. Try and try, and you will be successful. This is main thing.

Actually, there are so many gurus all over this world. Everybody wants to be a master, but this is not right. Gurudev told about it many times, and he also said to me during his last moments, 'You are bringing many people to me so that they take shelter in me, you are giving them this opportunity, but how many disciples have I made?' There are very few disciples. Gurudev said, 'I have given initiation to many people, but there are very few disciples.' It means that only taking initiation does not mean you have become a disciple. If you take initiation and follow Gurudev's guidance, order and advice properly, if Gurudev gets an opportunity to chastise you and you can tolerate his chastisement, then this is the character of a proper disciple. Chastisement is necessary for a disciple.

We always sing in the kirtan during the temple parikrama, 'Ami sakti-buddhi-hina, ami ati dina, koro more atmasatha: I have no energy, I do not have any power or intelligence. Please hijack me!' We always pray to Gurudev, 'Please hijack me!' Hijack from where? We want to be hijacked from the illusory environment.

'Use me as your goat. You can cut my neck, my leg or my tail ‒ as you wish. Use me as you please. It is your matter how you will use me. I am your things; I am your property.' This is what we must tell Gurudev. I am not a property of my parents, wife, husband or anybody else – I am a property of my Guru. I am Gurudev's property and it is his matter how he will use me. Our duty is that we must always try to serve him, and whether he will accept this service or not, it is up to him. This is how you can surrender...
