Delay No More

You must come to this path. There is no time to wait!

উঠরে উঠরে ভাই আর ত সময় নাই
'কৃষ্ণ ভজ' বলে উচ্চৈঃস্বরে

uthare uthare bhai ara ta samaya nai
'krsna bhaja' bale uchchaihsvare

Wake up, wake up, brother, there is no time! Worship Krishna!

There is no time left! If you do something one day earlier, you will get the result one day earlier too. I also think that I came to the temple only thirty years ago, but if I had come earlier, I would have been able to do so much more. I could have done more service. Now, I am slowly getting old, but I am still going everywhere...

This is how you must practise Krishna consciousness. We will leave any day, there is no time to delay! People do not come because of such trifle! They cannot give up meat and fish, what is this? What is the problem if you do not eat meat, fish, onion, etc.? Will you die if you do not eat it?! Eating all this only increases diseases. Do not eat meat and fish! I will go away, but you have not come to this path. What is the problem? You can boil potato and have it with rice. You can cook spinach, vegetables. Do not kill jiva souls. If you show mercy to jiva souls, you will get supreme benefit.

Do not kill jiva souls. It is said in the scriptures, and science also says the same thing: every action has an equal and opposite reaction. If you kill somebody in this world—if I cut a chicken—in my next life, I will become a chicken myself. My soul will be in a chicken's body, and the chicken's soul will get a human body and will kill me. This is told in the scriptures, and science is also saying this. Every action has an equal and opposite reaction. If you kill somebody in this world, you are afraid that you will be punished for this. Sometimes, it happens also that a man kills his father, but when this man's son grows up and hears that his father had killed his grandfather, he kills his father (the man who had committed a murder in the first place). Therefore, if you kill somebody in this world, it will later kill you in a future life.

Follow ekadasi, chant the Holy Name, wear Tulasi beads on your necks. If you wear Tulasi mala on your neck, Yamadutas will not be able to touch you. Have you heard what they look like? They come to take you at the time of death—the soul does not want to leave the body, but Yamadutas come and take the soul away forcefully. If there is Tulasi beads on the neck, then Vaishnavs come. So, practise Krishna consciousness in this way, you will get benefit.
