[His Divine Grace reads from Sri Nityananda Mahimamrita, 2nd expanded edition.]

Sri Nityananda Prabhu says, ‘Those who worship Gauranga are My heart and soul!’ If you glorify and chant the Name of Gauranga, all sins and impurities will go away from you and you will get taste for Krishna-lila. But both results are attained easily if we just pray to Nitai. ‘O Nityananda Prabhu! O gurudev! Please give me a drop of taste for the holy lotus feet of Sri Gauranga, for He is the worshippable connoisseur of the transcendental mellows existing in Sri Vrindavan, He is a combined form of Sri Sri Radha Govinda. Please, bestow your mercy on me so that I may attain to transcendental ecstatic loving service in Vrindavan.’

If we do not take shelter in Nitai and Gaura, we cannot attain this service to Sri Sri Radha-Govinda even in a dream – our service will be simply imagination. Sri Nityananda Prabhu is extremely merciful to the fallen. He is our only hope. He resides as Sankarshan in the abodes of Vaikuntha and Goloka. He is the only main foundation of all living entities. He is Baladev (the holder of all divine power), who enables the creation process and the procurement of all necessary ingredients to create the transcendental realm, but He descends in the form of Sri Nityananda Prabhu and Sri Guru and, dancing incessantly down the road, tells everyone, with tears of divine love flowing from His eyes, ‘Take the Name of Gauranga! Buy Me!’

No matter how much humility He displays, I am telling you that He is the greatest and most qualified personality on this path of devotion, and if we throw ourselves at His holy feet, our lives will be successful.

We can see in Sri Chaitanya-charitamrita and Sri Chaitanya-bhagavata a thorough and ample description of Sri Nityananda Prabhu and His nature. Baladev-Nityananda Prabhu is a repository of the entire creation, of all possible ingredients in the pastimes of Lord Krishna; therefore, our only wealth in spiritual life is to surrender everything and take exclusive shelter at the holy lotus feet of Sri Nityananda and gurudev, who is non-different from Him.
