Question: Could you please comment on verse 66 from Sri Sri Prema-dhama-deva Stotram?

I am not such a big expert at Sanskrit, but I can see and read it to you from the book.

atma-siddha-savalila-purna-saukhya-laksanam
svanubhava-matta-nrtya-kirtanatma-vantanam
advayaika-laksya-purna-tattva-tat-paratparam
prema-dhama-devam eva naumi gaura-sundaram

Actually, this is describing antya-lila, Mahaprabhu's last moments. It is written here that when the Lord showed the mood of Srimati Radharani, He showed very deep separation from the Lord, and because of that separation Mahaprabhu became like crazy... "This is the all-conquering conclusion: the highest conception of the Ultimate Reality must also be the highest form of ananda, ecstasy. Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu is Krishna, ecstasy Himself, tasting His own sweetness and dancing in ecstatic joy. His own Holy Name is the cause of His ecstasy, expressed as dancing, and the Holy Name is the effect of His ecstasy, expressed as chanting. The cause is the effect. The dynamo is creating ecstatic energy which makes Him dance, and His chanting distributes that ecstasy to others. I offer my obeisances to that beautiful Golden Lord, Gaurangasundar, the divine form of Krishna prema." This is the translation of this verse. It is written here that this kind of ecstasy would occur through His chanting of the Holy Name. "The highest conception of the Ultimate Reality must also be the highest form of ananda, ecstasy." How can I explain this to you?!

"Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu is Krishna, ecstasy Himself, tasting His own sweetness and dancing in ecstatic joy. His own Holy Name is the cause of His ecstasy, expressed as dancing, and the Holy Name is the effect of His ecstasy, expressed as chanting. The cause is the effect. The dynamo is creating ecstatic energy which makes Him dance, and His chanting distributes that ecstasy to others."

He is enjoying Himself, and His chanting distributes that ecstasy to others. This realisation produces happiness. Reality must be the highest form of ananda. Mahaprabhu is experiencing that pleasure, ananda, Himself, He is feeling that joy Himself, and He is distributing that joy to others also because Mahaprabhu comes in the form of the Holy Name. Krishna's Name, beauty, pastimes, etc. are non-different from the Lord Himself. So, Mahaprabhu is getting pleasure Himself and He is distributing that pleasure to others. This is the main meaning of this verse. This is the kind of pleasure that comes through the chanting of the Holy Name. When you chant, chant, and chant, this kind of pleasure can come. Yet we cannot experience that until we become qualified to chant the Holy Name purely. We always chant Nama-aparadh and so much Nama-abhas, but pure chanting of the Holy Name comes through good association. If you can chant through good association, at that time you will get pleasure and more pleasure. It is necessary to realise this.

Enthusiasm for Service:
the Yajna-Patnis
'One of the qualities that are favourable to devotion is enthusiasm. 'Oh, when will the day come? When will the day come? When will I do my service? When will I go to the temple?'—this kind of enthusiasm, utsaha, is necessary to have.'

Durlabha manava-janma
'Time has passed as I have been busy in my material life, and I have got nothing—only became burdened.'
দুর্লভ মানব জন্ম

If somebody says, 'I have humility, tolerance, and I give honour to others,'
they are telling a lie.
