When you live at the temple, you cannot be choosy, "I will do this, I will not do that." One time, Srila Prabhupad Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Thakur gave sannyas to one disciple, but later he said, "I am taking off the sannyas cloth I have given you," because he did not go to preach for Prabhupad—instead, he took sannyas from Prabhupad and went to Badarikashram. Prabhupad actually took his sannyas back. Gurudev told me about that. It is necessary to have chastity. For example, Mukunda was very good at singing kirtan, but Mahaprabhu called him khar-jhatiya. Why? Because he went everywhere and mixed with everyone.

We do not go everywhere. One time, there was a programme in Uluberia. When I got the photos in whatsapp, I told the Lord, "O Lord, You have saved me!" We are not politicians, we do not do politics, so I will not go to such places. I have my service. If there are politicians, I do not want to go there. Mahaprabhu did not do such things. Mahaprabhu went door to door chanting the Holy Name—He would go to BJP's door, He would go to Trinamool's door; He went to Muslims' door, He went to Christians' door, He went to Buddhists' door, He went to Hindus' door; He went to mlechhas' door, etc. He did not choose where to go and where not to go [He preached everywhere, He did not engage in politics]—He told whoever He saw to chant the Holy Name, and it is said about Sri Nityananda Prabhu,

উত্তম, অধম, কিছু না করে বিচার ।
যে আগে পড়য়ে, তারে করয়ে নিস্তার ॥

uttama, adhama, kichhu na kare vichara
ye age padaye, tare kraye nistara

Nityananda Prabhu does not consider who is good and who is bad, He saves anyone who falls before Him.

He does not see who is higher, who is lower—He rescued whoever falls at His feet.

In this way, we must serve Gurudev—we must not use Gurudev. If you do something using Gurudev's name, it is bad. Do not do business using Gurudev's name. We have not come here to do business, and we do not want to do anything covering up with the name of Gurudev. We must only preach Gurudev's teaching. We must preach in the same way that Gurudev preached, and we must preach his teaching—we must understand properly, truly what Gurudev's teaching and preaching mood are.
