Come for the Nabadwip Dham parikrama, but must remember that when the Holy Name reveals Himself, He starts dancing on your tongue. You take Harinam from the Guru, and this Holy Name will reveal Himself in the heart and then start dancing on your tongue. But if I tell you to dance and the place is unlevelled, will you be able to dance there? No. For the Holy Name to dance on your tongue you must make your tongue level. How will you make it level? By chanting the Holy Name and by giving up eating unclean things. We do not eat outside food,

জিহ্বার লালসে যেই ইতি-উতি ধায় ।
শিশ্নোদরপরায়ণ সে কৃষ্ণ নাহি পায় ॥

jihvara lalase yei iti-uti dhaya
sisnodara-parayana se krsna nahi paya

"One who is subservient to the tongue and who thus goes here and there, devoted to the genitals and the belly, cannot attain Krishna."

(Sri Chaitanya-charitamrita, Antya-lila, 6.227)

This is written in the scriptures. If you do not take the medicine, will the disease be cured? It never will. Remember it. If you just dance and dance and do not chant the Holy Name (do not take the medicine), the result will not come. You think, "Gurudev has been to my house," and you are satisfied with that, but will the disease be cured just by coming to the doctor's house (or by the doctor coming to your house)? You must take the medicine—you must chant, always chant the Holy Name; wherever you are, chant the Holy Name of Krishna.

যদি আমা'-প্রতি স্নেহ থাকে সবাকার ।
তবে কৃষ্ণ-ব্যতিরিক্ত না গাইবে আর ॥

yadi ama'-prati sneha thake sabakara
tabe krsna-vyatirikta na gaibe ara

"If you have any love and affection for Me, then only say 'Krishna'—do not say anything except 'Krishna.'"

(Sri Chaitanya-bhagavata, Madhya-khanda, 28.27)

We use our mouth for so much talking and eating—

দিনের মধ্যে আবল-তাবল
কত পচাল পাড়িতে পর
তার মধ্যে কিন্তু তুমি একবার
গোবিন্দ বলে আর কথা বলিব না

dinera madhye abala-tabala
kata pachala parite para
tara madhye kintu tumi ekbara
govinda bale, ara katha baliba na

"All day you talk all kinds of nonsense, how much idle talk you engage in! But find time amidst all that to chant the Name of Govinda, do not talk about other things!"

Always chant the Name of Krishna.

When Mahaprabhu left Nabadwip He gave this order to everyone, and our Guru-varga, our Param Guru Maharaj Srila Sridhar Dev-Goswami Maharaj, my Gurupadpadma Bhakti Sundar Govinda Dev-Goswami Maharaj preached this all over the world. What Mahaprabhu said,

পৃথিবীতে আছে যত নগরাদি গ্রাম
সর্ব্বত্র প্রচার হইবে মোর নাম

prithivite achhe yata nagaradi grama
sarvatra prachara haibe mora nama

"My Name will spread to every village and town on this earth."

Who are our Guru-varga?

সাক্ষাদ্ধরিত্বেন সমস্ত-শাস্ত্রৈ-
রুক্তস্তথা ভাব্যত এব সদ্ভিঃ ।
কিন্তু প্রভোর্যঃ প্রিয় এব তস্য
বন্দে গুরোঃ শ্রীচরণারবিন্দম্ ॥

saksadd-haritvena samasta-sastrair
uktas tatha bhavyata eva sadbhih
kintu prabhor yah priya eva tasya
vande guroh sri-charanaravindam

"I offer my obeisance unto the lotus feet of Sri Guru, who is said by all the scriptures to be the Lord Himself, and considered to be so by the sadhus, yet is also the Lord's beloved devotee."

(Sri Sri Gurvastakam, 7)

Mahaprabhu went house to house calling out, "Jiva jago! Jiva jago! Wake up!" We sing about this every day, every morning and evening, it is necessary to understand the meaning of these songs. Do you become a good doctor just by passing exams? To be a good doctor it is necessary to practise. For example, you cook nicely at your home every day, but if you do not cook for one year, you will forget how to cook, is it not so? Unless you practise you will not be able to cook so well. In the same way, we must practise chanting the Holy Name, then at the time of death Krishna Nam will come to your mouth, but if you do not practise every day, will the Holy Name come? No, He will not. It is necessary to practise. Keep practising, and everything will come.
