Bread of Life His Divine Grace Om Vishnupad
What you are doing there alone? Are you working so hard only to eat eating something? Come and stay with me! Kartik parikrama is coming soon, you can visit all parikrama places, come. When I see people working so hard outside only for their food, I become sad. They work hard to spend time on eating and a little sleep, and they cannot even sleep properly. They work outside the whole day from early morning, coming home at midnight, always eating outside. What for? Only for eating? Is this a life? This is not the proper lifestyle. If they are working hard and can serve the Guru and Vaishnavs, that is another matter, but they do not even get a chance to chant the Holy Name. I am sad to see them. They cannot even remember anything—when they are working, they forget to remember their Guru's name, Krishna's name, they forget about them. This is how much they work for themselves... If they could keep one percent of their time for their Guru, Vaishnavs, and Bhagavan, that would be good, beneficial for them. Krishna sent them in this body to serve Him, but they are always in the illusory environment, always attached with their work... I am praying for everybody—try to understand how valuable this human body, this human life is. You cannot even imagine how valuable this life is. If we lose this life on some other job, it will be bad for everybody, it will be bad for us also. Does anybody have any questions? Question: What happens to a devotee if they cannot remember or think about Krishna for some time? Still, they remember something, they get some benefit... They will not go to hell, do not worry. But why did Gurudev say that there is a 5% devotee, a 10% devotee, a 20% devotee, an 80% devotee? Can you not understand why he said this? Anyhow, do not be discouraged because when Krishna is powerful, by His mercy anything can happen at any moment. Even if some devotee cannot do something, sometimes anything can happen—within one moment Krishna can take them to His own place... "Kartavya na akartavya anya ta kartama"—it means that we think something will not never happen or we think that something must happen, but by Krishna's mercy neither of the two things may happen. For example, we are thinking that it must rain today and somebody thinks it will not rain, but any moment anything can happen—neither of the two things may happen and something else will happen.
