So, I have told you what I wanted to say. Tomorrow I will take prasadam at noon and return to Kolkata. After that, I have to go to a programme in Bakultala, South 24 Parganas. Many of you have not been there – if you want to come, come on Sunday, there will be a festival. There are good devotees staying there, they are running the place nicely. They came this year before Nabadwip Dham parikrama. One of them, an old man, told me, 'I have some debt. I had borrowed twelve thousand rupees from Santosh Prabhu, but he is gone now...' I told him, 'All right, you can use that money in service to Sri Nabadwip Dham parikrama.' They do a lot of service. So, come to the programme there this Sunday.

You are going to have a temple here – everybody should help. Do not listen to what people say here and there. Many obstacles and problems will come, but remember that I love you all. Do not listen to 'village' talks, do not talk about 'village' news.

গ্রাম্যকথা না শুনিবে, গ্রাম্যবার্ত্তা না কহিবে ।
ভাল না খাইবে আর ভাল না পরিবে ॥
অমানী মানদ হঞা কৃষ্ণনাম সদা ল'বে ।
ব্রজে রাধাকৃষ্ণ সেবা মানসে করিবে ॥

gramya-katha na sunibe, gramya-varta na kahibe
bhala na khaibe ara bhala na paribe
amani manada hana krsna-nama sada la’be
vraje radha-krsna seva manase karibe

‘Do not listen to village talks, do not speak about village news. Do not eat fancy food, do not wear fancy clothes. Do not expect honour from others, give all respect to others. Always chant the Holy Name of Krishna and serve Radha-Krishna in your mind.’

Do not listen to what anybody is saying or not saying. This Math is yours, and you are the ones who will live here. I am not going to come here all the time. Even when I come here, I stay at ** Prabhu's house for a night or a few days – I know that he is not going to kick me out. So, I have no problem. Try your best to complete the temple here as fast as possible.

The devotee: Even when the temple is build, please do come and stay at my house.

I will. You know, I made a temple in Mednipore, but when I come there, I do not stay at the temple – I stay at ** Babu's house nearby. He has not taken initiation, but I come and stay at his house. The servitors at the temple have never once said to me, 'Gurudev, please come and stay at the temple.' If there is a temple, why must I stay at somebody else's house? It is not like I do not want to stay at the temple and want to stay at that house instead. The problem is that when you run a temple, you have to maintain it. I built the temple and all the rooms, but it is necessary to take care and keep the rooms clean. They say that they keep a room for their gurudev, but they use it for other purposes, then how will I stay there? When I went to Bankura this time, I also told them about this.

After Gurudev's festival I will need to go to Midnapore again. One devotee gave us a small place in Mejhiari, and they have already built a small temple there themselves. They want to bring Gaura-Nitai there, so I will come to inaugurate the temple and install the Deities. They will take care of all the temple service there. I have given their temple our Math's name. After Mejhiari, I will go to Midnapore and from there to Siliguri. There will be a festival there. When I come back, I will try to come here. I will try to come from time to time. ** Prabhu will come every week by motorcycle to help with the construction supervision.

He goes to Bangladesh regularly and stays there for ten–eleven days. The people there do not understand much about building temples, so they can do wrong things, that is why he goes there to supervise the works. He got a visa and can go there as many time as he wants. It actually takes a lot of money to go there. First, he takes a train from Dum Dum Station to Bangaon (a station at the border between India and Bangladesh), from there he takes a bus at eight o'clock in the morning and arrives by four in the afternoon. It is not that far, but the problem in Bangladesh is that there are a lot of rivers. For buses, lorries, etc. to cross those rivers, they have to stand in a queue for two or more hours. They have built bridges in many places, and there is only one left to build now. Once that bridge is finished, there will be no problem. In Patuakhali (the area where the temple is), the bridge is already constructed, and now they only need to make a bridge in Lebukhali – when it is constructed, it will be much easier. Also, there are many trains going there from the Shyambazar station to Khulna, and from there you can get a bus to get to the temple. Now there are many ways to get there.
