You must practise properly. Sometimes, when you are staying at the temple, you become lazy – you only sleep and eat...

Everybody says that I am a very angry man, that I kick everybody out. Do you know what this boy has done? Still, I gave him shelter again. First, he did service in Nabadwip, then he went away, then came back again, then left again and came back again. When he came back for the second time, I sent him to Ekachakra to do goshala service. He did it, he even went for collection and did other services, but he did not talk to anyone. A few years later, he started closing his eyes because he did not want to see any girl. Then, he stopped going to take prasadam because there are some old ladies staying at the temple and he did not want to see them. He started cooking something for himself at the goshala. I told devotees in Ekachakra not to disturb him because he was doing goshala service. Then, he started doing mayavadi things. At first, I was told that he had some Tulasi and my picture, but then Sripad Niriha Maharaj told me that he had thrown my photo away and put a photo of Rabindranath Tagore, who is a mayavadi, instead. I said, 'OK, he does what he does. At least he is doing the goshala service.' What did he do next? He threw all cows' food away and said, 'I will not give food to the cows!' And when somebody came to forcefully give food to the cows, he would throw stones at them! Not only did he not give food to the cows himself but he also did not allow others to give it. Then, number three. What did he do? He cut all Tulasi trees and burnt them in fire! After that he became stark crazy. I put him into hospital, but he ran away from there because, as he said, they were forcefully feeding him meat and fish. He has now come to me again and said, 'I want to stay at the temple.' And I gave him shelter, but this time he did not do any service. I sent him to Takareshwar, saying, 'There are three cows there, you can do cow seva there.' He did not do it. How much have I tried to engage him? I tolerated everything. If they still say that I am angry, how much more not angry can I be? I saw that he did all parikrama this time with us. He is staying here now. I told, 'OK, if he wants to stay, he can stay.' I have to tolerate so much.... He has cut and burnt Tulasi trees! And when they broke into his room in Ekachakra, they saw that the whole room was trashed – the light, the fuse, the bathroom door, everything was broken. They tied him and sent him by car to a hospital. I sent Sripad Niriha Maharaj to see him the next day, but he was told that the man had run away...

The time for Hapaniya Festival is coming soon. I have done some shopping today for Hapaniya – I got some cows' food for Hapaniya (I have already sent it there), Ekachakra and Bankura. I have also got some groceries, and tomorrow I will go to the market to get vegetables. I will go to Hapaniya tomorrow in the afternoon or I may send Sripad Niriha Maharaj instead. The day after that, we will go there all together by bus. There are not so many devotees, so everyone can fit into one bus, and I will take my small white car.

I love everyone, and I wish everyone well. Everyone can come and join us, but the problem is when somebody becomes a demon. There is one disciple of Srila Sridhar Maharaj. His two daughters came to me and cried, saying that their father was a drunkard. I told them, 'OK, go back to your house and give the phone to your father, I can talk to him.' I told them this, but they did not leave and began to cry more. I asked them, 'Why are you crying?' Both sisters told me that their father came to them drunk every day and abused them – one sister one day, and the other sister the next day. What will you say to that? They prayed to me to rescue them, but I told them to go back and leave their parents' house immediately. There is no other solution. They work, they do some service, so they can rent a house outside. Actually, they did that before – they had lived separately for many years, but their mother called them back and they returned. The man is sixty-five years old! Where is devotion? Where is a disciple of Srila Sridhar Maharaj? They say, 'I am a disciple of Srila Sridhar Maharaj!' But what is this?! Is this human behaviour? Even cats and dogs can understand these things – even cats and dogs do not abuse their own children.
