Question: What is the meaning of vanachari?

A vanachari is a person who was married before and has rejected family life. It is similar to sannyas, but if somebody takes sannyas, they must go for preaching outside. Vanacharya can also mean ksetra-sannyas: the person leaves his family attachment and stays in some place, does puja, bhajan, archan.

Once a vanachari, you cannot go back—sometimes a brahmachari can change his clothes, can get married, but a vanachari cannot get married. If a vanachari gets married, it means he has vomited and is now eating that vomit.

Question: How can we increase the connection with the Guru in our heart?

Through service to the Guru, by following the Guru's instruction. Always follow the Guru's instruction to a T, 100%. If you follow the Guru's instruction 90%, you will get a 90% connection. The connection depends on your faith. You must follow to a T, do or die, and keep full strongest faith in your Guru.

You have given your heart to your Guru, but if you secretly give your heart to somebody else, you will only cheat yourself.

Good. If she can apply for membership in Krishna's family and get that membership, she will get even more happiness.

Actually we all were members of the family of Krishna, but sometimes we get disconnected for many years and lose our membership. That is why the Guru comes as a representative of Krishna: it is the Guru's duty to connect you with the Lord, to give you the membership in Krishna's family.
