We are staying here in a very special place... Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Thakur said that we have taken initiation from Gurudev, but have we actually become disciples of our Gurudev? That is the main question.

After Srila Gaura Kishor Das Babaji Maharaj's disappearance also everybody claimed, "Srila Gaura Kishor Das Babaji Maharaj is our Guru!" but Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Thakur told straight and very strictly, "None of them are his disciples!" Srila Gaura Kishor Das Babaji Maharaj gave everything to Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Thakur, and they thought they were his disciples too, so if they could take their Guru's dead body and make his samadhi, then they could become like Prabhupad Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Thakur, but Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Thakur did not allow them to do that. He objected and declared that none of them was Srila Babaji Maharaj's disciple.

So, when we take initiation, not everybody becomes a disciple—some pretend to be a disciple. There are three types of disciples—guru-bhogi (those who use their Guru), guru-tyagi (those who renounce, or reject, their Guru), and guru-sevi (some few persons who are servitors of the Guru).

If at least one person is a proper disciple of Gurudev—if at least one person can follow Gurudev properly—then one-two people like that is sufficient. Srila Sridhar Dev-Goswami Maharaj made many disciples, but among them he made only one proper disciple—Gurudev, who then conquered the whole world. Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Thakur also had so many disciples, but it was Srila A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Maharaj Prabhupad who conquered the whole world. Srila Swami Maharaj created a big mission coming from householder life and coming to Krishna consciousness at a very old age, but he is so powerful—he has got the mercy from Prabhupad, and the mercy from Srila Sridhar Dev-Goswami Maharaj also. Both our Gurudev and Srila Swami Maharaj became very powerful and conquered the whole world—that is sufficient for us.
