(1/11) Worship Nityananda His Divine Grace Om Vishnupad
Jay Om Vishnupad Jagad-Guru Srila Bhakti Sundar Govinda Dev-Goswami
Maharaj ki jay Devotee: Jay Om Vishnupad Paramahamsa Jagad-Guru Srila Bhakti Nirmal Acharya Maharaj ki jay. Jay Om Vishnupad Paramahamsa Jagad-Guru Srila Bhakti Sundar Govinda Dev-Goswami Maharaj ki jay. Harinam sankirtan ki jay. Gaura premanande Hari bol We are very fortunate today because by the mercy of Nityananda Prabhu, by the mercy of Gurudev, we have come to Ekachakra Dham. Not everybody has the fortune to do this parikrama of Sri Ekachakra Dham. You can see that so many devotees have come from various countries all over the world. Spending thousands of rupees just to come here, they have come to observe the holy appearance day of Sri Nityananda Prabhu. You come from a nearby areas, just a short train journey away, and you feel tired, but they come here changing planes two, three, sometimes four times, making thirty- or forty-hour journeys. They have come from Russia, Venezuela, America, Brazil, South Africa, London and other places. They have come from so far! Taking a thirty–forty-hour journey, changing planes three-four times, they come to Kolkata, then from Kolkata they take a train to Ekachakra – they have struggled so much to come here. How much difference there is between you all and them. Think about it. You come panting, 'Oh, I have been on the train for three (four, five) hours!' but they travel by plane for thirty–forty hours, coming here from thousands of miles away. If you imagine the globe and imagine that India is on top, you can see that they come from the places that are right on the other side of the globe, at the bottom. They come even from such faraway places to observe this festival. They come as your guests. When you come here, tired after the train ride, you come and ask for a room, but you do not see that there is a very big room right here, in the nat-mandir. [His Divine Grace chuckles.] When you travel somewhere by train, you pass many stations. Sometimes, the train can run late and you sit on the train for five–six hours, tolerating mosquito bites. But here you can see a very beautiful environment – there are beautiful lights. We are sitting here in front of the Lordships (Sri Sri Guru Gaura Nityananda Prabhu)... Please sit on the sides of the nat-mandir, do not sit with your backs to the Deities, it is an offence. You have arrived at the holy abode of Lord Nityananda Prabhu as the result of great fortune. Should you think how necessary Nityananda Prabhu is for your spiritual life, you will be able to realise it. If you discuss what Srila Narottam Das Thakur, Srila Vrindavan Das Thakur and Srila Krishna Das Kaviraj Goswami wrote, you will see how they describe the qualities and pastimes of Nityananda Prabhu, and if you study these things, you will understand how necessary Nityananda Prabhu is in our lives. It is our great fortune to have got this human birth. What is the purpose of this human birth? If you cannot know who you are, who the Lord is, if you do not understand what your duty is, then there is no use getting this human birth. There will be no more human birth! It is very doubtful whether you can ever get a human birth again. You have got this human birth! It is such a great fortune. But if, having got this birth, you do not worship Nityananda Prabhu (do not practise Nityananda consciousness), if you do not worship Gauranga (do not practise Gauranga consciousness), if you do not worship Radha-Krishna (do not practise Radha-Krishna consciousness), then you will have to keep coming and going in this material world, taking birth as cows, goats, sheep, cats, snakes and dogs. Sadhus are very merciful: our Gurupadpadma has merciful established this temple here, arranging for a place for you all to stay, to allow you all to hear about Sriman Nityananda Prabhu. He has thought and talked many times with me about arranging something that would allow you to get faith in Nityananda Prabhu and devotion to Him. Therefore, it is my prayer to you all: please always worship and serve Nityananda Prabhu.
