You must serve Govinda with your mind, heart and soul. Walking the street one day and dancing, doing parikrama, will not do. You must do it every day. If you do not have time to do it, you must do parikrama of Tulasi Devi, but you must at least once a year come for Nabadwip Dham parikrama.

Nabadwip Dham is nondifferent from Vraja Dham. You know that Krishna took Radharani's heart and halo and appeared in Nabadwip as Gauranga Mahaprabhu. "Mahaprabhu Sri Chaitanya Radha-Krsna nahe anya" (মহাপ্রভু শ্রীচৈতন্য, রাধাকৃষ্ণ নহে অন্য): Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu is nondifferent from Sri Sri Radha-Krishna. You have heard this kirtan. Krishna performed His pastimes of sweetness (madhura-lila) in Vraja Dham, relishing the taste of Vraja-rasa, and He performs His pastimes of magnanimity (audarya-lila) here in Nabadwip. In Dvaraka and Puri, He performed His opulent pastimes (aisvarya-lila). In Nabadwip, He extends His magnanimity by distributing the Holy Name of Lord Krishna and the divine love for Lord Krishna with an open heart.

When Mahaprabhu went to Kashi with the Holy Name, He said, "There are no customers, but how can I take My goods back? I will sell them then without any price to anyone and everyone then!" The price for His gift is faith (sraddha). You cannot buy the Holy Name with money, but in this country people pay for 8- and 24-prahar kirtans, they hire singers—they 'buy' the Holy Name with money, and those who come to sing also sell the Holy Name in exchange for money. If you hear the Holy Name from such people, you will have to fall into the jaws of death. 'Death' means that you will have to be removed from this spiritual line. If we make offences to the Holy Name, we will have to go fall down and go to hell. That is why it is necessary to keep yourself far away from offences to the Holy Name.

I have told you during the lecture the other day, you have heard it: suppose you pour some water into a glass, but the water keeps coming out from the glass—the glass never becomes full. Why does it happen? Because there are holes in the bottom of the glass, so all water comes out through those holes. You must engage yourself in eternal, daily service, but you are doing so many things, you hear the Holy Name and Hari-katha, and your heart does not become clean. You take initiation from some sahajiya gurus who give you the mantra, but if your heart does not become clean, what is the use? If you throw some seeds without cleaning the land first, will any wheat, rice or potato grow there? It will not. If you keep listening to Hari-katha, your heart will become clean, then if you plant a seed and water it, the seed will sprout. But the problem is that we do not take shelter of a genuine guru, and if we do take shelter of a genuine guru, we do not practise...
