ব্রহ্মাণ্ড ভ্রমিতে কোন ভাগ্যবান্ জীব ।

"Having travelled throughout the universe, some fortunate souls receive the seed of the devotional creeper by the mercy of Sri Guru, who is non-different from Krishna."

(Sri Chaitanya-charitamrita, 2.19.151)

I can get this seed, but if I do not take care of it myself, if I do not water and nurture it (do not practise sravan and kirtan), then it will not grow. We must keep our seed secret, or private, and practise sravan and kirtan. At the same time, if you give too much water, the seed will rot. So, if you do not have right to do something, do not venture there. For example, if we do not have the right, or qualification, to chant about the glories of Sri Gaura and Nitai, then how can we dance and sing about the rasa-lila of Radha and Krishna? I told you the other day about what happens if you do that, so I will not speak about it today again. So, if you pour too much water on the ground, your seed will rot. People like to keep yugala-murti of Radha-Krishna—there are many Deities like that on the streets—do you think Radha-Krishna can stay like this?

"From afar we shall worship the raga-patha, the path of spontaneous affectionate service, while we ourselves shall live within the Vedic guideline."

(Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Thakur Prabhupad)

We must keep raga-patha (the path of spontaneous devotion) in our hearts—we can pray for the footdust of the Divine Couple, but even then, we should not do this openly, in front of everyone. What did Uddhav Maharaj say? Seeing the devotion of Vraja gopis, he said, "I have no right to have the darshan of their feet, but I pray to be able to take some dust from their feet on my head." This was his prayer. But we take the opposite road, but this road will not lead you to the Lord. The scriptures say, "Go this way, and you will come to the Lord," but you go in the opposite direction, will you come to the Lord like this? You will not. That is the problem. We do in the opposite direction—we are not practising Krishna consciousness properly, we do not serve the Lord properly.

You have come to this world, but how long will you be here? How long will you be alive in this world? If you practise spiritual life properly, following the true, genuine path, if you practise pure spiritual life, then you will get supreme benefit.

'Take Care of My Property'
'We are not enjoyers, we are not renunciants. When you surrender to your guru, you give this body to your Guru to serve the Lord, that is why you have no right to leave this body without food.'

People feel affection to their children, wife, relatives, and if you think that kind of relation
is coming to you towards your Guru and your Guru's mission, then you can think
that some devotion is coming to your heart...
