Yesterday I went to Nrisingha Palli for a short time because I had some job there, and after that I came back here to Dum Dum Park the same day. Tomorrow I am again going for preaching for five days in Bankura and Bardhaman.

In the meantime, Sripad Sajjan Maharaj is doing book distribution here in Kolkata. There are two small Bengali books, Prakrita Utser Sandhane (In Search of the Original Source) and Parama-ananda-maya Dhamer Dhan (Gift of Transcendental Abode). These two small books are two full lectures that Gurudev gave in Mexico and Australia. I printed 5,000 copies each (10,000 total), and Sripad Sajjan Maharaj distributes a hundred copies every day. There is my phone number in the books, and all the people are calling me now and asking so many questions – I have to answer their questions. Sripad Sajjan Maharaj does not speak Bengali or English, but he distributes a hundred books every day. Despite his old age, he is doing so well. Every day, he goes to the Diamond Plaza on Jessore Road and stands there. Many people go there to buy things (there is a large Big Bazar store there), and he distributes books to all shoppers. He is a very nice distributor. He goes out to distribute books every day, he does not stop. He went out even during the lockdown period – he is not afraid of corona…

Many people are very afraid of corona. I have sent Sripad Niriha Maharaj, two brahmacharis and one or two more devotees (five–six devotees in total) with Sripad Ashok Prabhu, and they are now doing preaching in Bardhaman villages. I have given Sripad Niriha Maharaj some of the preaching service. He has now taken over preaching in the places where Hari Charan Prabhu and I used to preach. He is preaching about Gaura Purnima now, and he says that some people are afraid, so they do not give them place to stay, fearing, ‘Oh, maybe corona will come!’

You must understand one thing. Birth and death are not in our hands. The date when we will leave our body is already written for us. It is not necessary to be afraid. ‘Prana achhe yara, sei hetu prachara (প্রাণ আছে যার সেই হেতু প্রচার). You have life, you are alive, then you must preach.’
