মূকং করোতি বাচালং পঙ্গুং লঙ্ঘয়তে গিরিম্ ।
যৎকৃপা তমহং বন্দে শ্রীগুরুং দীনতারণম্ ॥

mukam karoti vachalam pangum langhayate girim
yat krpa tam aham vande sri-gurum dina-taranam

'The dumb can speak, the lame can climb a hill – all it takes is mercy from Gurudev."

Today is a very auspicious day, the holy appearance day of Sriman Nityananda Prabhu. We are all present here today to speak about Him. You heard about some of the glories of Nityananda Prabhu yesterday, and you should also listen to it today.

Below are the remarks His Divine Grace makes during the kirtans.]

When Nityananda Prabhu travelled to various areas, He would stay at the houses of different devotees, and each of those devotees (Raghav Pandit, Vasudev Ghosh, Kanu Das Thakur and others) then composed kirtans in glorification of Nityananda Prabhu. If you read this book, Sri Nityananda Mahimamrita, you will find those kirtans in it. I have told you before that you should buy this book.

নিজগুণ প্রেমধন, দিলা গোরা জনে জন,
পতিতের আগে দান করে ।

nija-guna prema-dhana, dila gora jane jana,
patitera age dana kare

'It was part of Gora's nature to bestow the treasure of divine love to anyone and everyone, but He would first of all present it to the fallen.'

('Iha kali-yuga dhanya')

Nityananda Prabhu would not look at those who were rich and had big ego, but He would rescue anybody fallen, lowly, bereft and miserable who would fall at His feet. He did not consider who was high and who was low, and He did not only accept big Vaishnavs or big devotees – He would rescue whoever fell at His feet and send them to the abode of the Lord.

মুঞি অতি মূঢ় মতি মায়ার নফর ।
এই সব পাপে মোর তনু জর জর ॥
ম্লেচ্ছ অধম যত ছিল অনাচারী ।
তা সব হইতে বুঝি মোর পাপের ভারী ॥

muni ati mudha mati mayara naphara
ei saba pape mora tanu jara jara
mlechchha adhama yata chhila anachari
ta saba haite bujhi mora papera bhari

'A manservant of Maya, I am extremely foolish! My body has become plagued with all these sins. Even compared to all the outcasts, lowly and degenerate people, I am full of sin.'

('Ei-bara karuna kara Chaitanya Nitai')

Srila Lochan Das Thakur wrote very beautifully. 'My body has become ruined because of my sins. I cannot leave Maya! The Lord has rescued all outcasts, Muslims and other lowly and fallen people, but I think that I am even more sinful than them, that is why I have not been rescued. I am more sinful than even outcasts! Even Jagai and Madhai were rescued, but I am more sinful than them.' We must think like this, too. 'I am very low! I am lower than Jagai, Madhai, outcasts and Muslim people! I do not have any qualities. I have committed too many sins in my life, that is why Nityananda Prabhu will not give me His mercy!'

অশেষ পাপের পাপী জগাই মাধাই ।
তা সবারে উদ্ধারিলা তোমরা দুই ভাই ॥
লোচন বলে মুঞি অধমে দয়া নৈল কেনে ।
তুম না করিলে দয়া কে করিবে আনে ॥

ta sabare uddharila tomara dui bhai
lochana bale muni adhame daya naila kene
tumi na karile daya ke karibe ane

'Jagai and Madhai had committed countless sins, but You, two brothers, have rescued them both. Lochan says: why have such a lowly soul as myself not got any mercy? If You do not bestow Your mercy on me, who else will do it?'

হেন প্রভুর পাদপদ্ম না করি ভজন ।
হাতে তুলি মুখে বিষ করিলু ভক্ষণ ॥

hena prabhura padapadma na kari bhajana
hate tuli mukhe visa karilu bhaksana

'Those who do not worship the holy lotus feet of this Lord, Nityananda Prabhu, with their own hand feeds themselves poison.'
