You have just heard about the glories of Sriman Nityananda Prabhu. If you can understand the meaning of what we have been singing just now, you will like it very much. Take Sri Nityananda Mahimarita with you and read these songs – sing them every day at home. Singing them just once will not do; you must sing them every day.

You know, I went to bed at eleven o'clock last night, but mosquitoes started biting me and I could not sleep. I took out Nityananda Mahimamrita and started checking the tunes of the kirtans (to see how they are sung). At twelve o'clock I saw that somebody had brought a mosquito coil. After that, I fell asleep...

Describing the glories of Sriman Nityananda Prabhu, Srila Krishna Das Kaviraj Goswami wrote, 'If you do not worship Nityananda, you are putting poison into your mouth.' You have heard Srila Krishna Das Kaviraj Goswami's name before – he is the composer of Sri Chaitanya-charitamrita. There, he described Nityananda Prabhu's divine form in a very beautiful way, but that same Srila Krishna Das Kaviraj Goswami also said, 'I have not been able to worship Nityananda Prabhu!' He tore his hair out, crying, 'Nityananda is not giving me mercy! I do not worship Nityananda! He is very merciful, but I cannot properly worship Him!'

[Noticing a devotee dozing off] Sleep! Sleep! The kirtan is going on, there is so much sound – how can you be sleeping? You can see how one can sleep in Maya's lap... When Maya the Witch attacks you, such a deep sleep can come that you will not be able to hear anything around you.

Today is the holy appearance day of Sri Nityananda Prabhu, and we are present here on this auspicious day, at this auspicious moment, at this auspicious planetary alignment. [Clamour] Please do not speak! I am asking you with folded palms, clasping your feet – please do not speak! When somebody is talking about Nityananda Prabhu, nobody must speak about anything else! All the souls averse to Krishna come here and create a mob. When you come here, you think, 'I have got Nityananda's mercy!' but can you ever get His mercy without chanting His glorification, without falling at His feet? Nityananda Prabhu is non-different from guru-tattva. 'Non-different' means that there is no difference between Nityananda and the guru.

I told you before: how does one get the right to serve Lord Krishna? Whom does Krishna belong? To Radharani. And Radharani is non-different from gurudev. Therefore, you must take shelter of gurudev and listen to what he says. I told you yesterday also that one does not take shelter just by taking initiation.

I have told you all, crying out so hard, to please keep quiet, but you are still continuing to talk... Srila Lochan Das Thakur said, 'If you do not worship Nityananda, I will throw fire into your mouth! If you never speak about Nityananda Prabhu (if His Name does not come out of your mouth), may blazing fire be thrown into your mouth!' You all come here and talk so much – think about what Lochan Das Thakur said. And he also says, 'If you are not worshipping Nityananda, you are only taking poison!'
